The Ziglint Z5 looks like an expensive vacuum cleaner of $300 class confused but does not cost more than just under $100.
Although it reveals some weaknesses in the processing and operation in our test, it is by no means a bad cheap copy.
The suction power is phenomenal in comparison to most other hand vacuum cleaners and also the equipment is rich.
In our test, we want to check whether the quality and absorbency automatically suffer as well, or whether you can even make a bargain here with the copy. So, let’s start to specifications of the vacuum cleaner.

Ziglint Z5: Design and Appearance
The Ziglint Z5 is just like the big model a bagless cordless vacuum cleaner, which can be used both for floor care and for cleaning of higher areas, such as various pieces of furniture.
The similarity to the Dyson is always clear, but differences there are of course still a lot. So the Ziglint sucker is slightly smaller and also much lighter due to the materials are chosen (less than 1.4 kg without nozzle).
The replaceable lithium-ion battery has a capacity of 2000 mAh and can be fully charged according to the manufacturer in about 4 to 5 hours.
With an operating voltage of a good 22.2 volts, the Ziglint Z5 delivers 120 watts and thus generates a suction power of 8000 Pa.
The dust container holds a maximum of 700 ml and can be removed including the integrated filter from the engine and the suction nozzle.
In addition to the battery itself, the price also includes an electrically rotating floor nozzle with a width of almost 22 cm, as well as a telescopic tube and a crevice tool.
The crevice nozzle of Ziglint Z5 in the test also has an extendable brush attachment and can thus also be used to clean sensitive surfaces.
Incidentally, for a small extra charge, the Ziglint Z5 is also available in a version with an additional floor nozzle and matching cleaning cloth.
Hard floors can, therefore, be vacuumed and wiped at the same time. Our test, however, refers exclusively to the variant without a wipe.
The plastic used makes a very cheap impression and is always quiet, creaking sounds. The advantage of this construction, however, also quickly clear, because a relatively low weight is in a hand vacuum cleaner finally of crucial importance.
Although the connections between the individual parts snap in securely, they still do not make the best impression. So it happened in the test again and again, that a part stuck and only after several attempts a connection was possible.
The floor nozzle revealed both light and shade in our test and could not fully convince despite the rotating brush with carbon fibers.
In the field of rechargeable vacuum cleaners, a rotating brush is an absolute exception, of course, and first of all, provide a much better cleaning performance than would be the case with other devices.
On the other hand of Ziglint Z5 in the analisis, the flexible suspension of the nozzle is clearly too loose, at least for our taste. So it is difficult to just drive a straight line with it because the nozzle always tends to go into the curve.
Ziglint Z5: Performance and Cleaning
The dust container can be emptied in various ways and the simplest of these is to open the hinged lid at the bottom by pressing a button. At least the relatively heavy and compact dirt particles so easily fall out of the container, in contrast to clumped dust fluff or hair.
They often adhere more tightly to the clear plastic cylinder and the overlying filter. So it is at least now and then necessary to remove the engine part and then remove the entire filter from the dust container.
This is done quickly and then you can actually remove all residues in the container and the filter very easily.
The foam filter in the Ziglint Z5 can not only be removed and replaced if necessary, according to the instructions, it can also be simply washed with water.
This should be done at the latest when the suction decreases noticeably. This was never the case with our model and even after we had sucked in a lot of fine dust, the filter was still very clean.
The separation of the dust particles from the air stream seems to work very well here so that hardly any dust reaches the filter.
Incidentally, the instructions of the Ziglint are very simple and consist of only two printed A4 pages, which were stapled together in the middle. At least with our model, it was only available in English. In view of the more or less self-explanatory handling but for most probably no problem.
With a full battery charge, we were able to suck a good half hour without interruption in the test – a fantastic value.
But when the power wears off, the battery of Ziglint Z5 can be fully charged in less than 5 hours. Once connected to the power outlet, a flashing LED will indicate charging is in progress and as soon as it is permanently flashing, the battery is full.
Both during loading and during normal storage, it always bothers us that the vacuum cleaner does not stop by itself and does not have a station or a wall bracket. So it’s best it is in a closet or in the corner behind a door.
Despite all the criticism in terms of build quality and handling when it comes to the suction power, the Ziglint Z5 leaves nothing to be desired.
Especially in comparison to other hand vacuum cleaners, it is sometimes really much stronger, also because of the rotating brush.
In fact, it is unrivaled in the field, but it looks different when compared to other vacuum cleaners. These are thanks to the connection to the socket even stronger and just for large floor areas with carpet much better suited.
For typical applications of a hand vacuum cleaner, the Ziglint Z5 in the test is perfectly motorized. If you suck around the floor tiles around the litter box, the floor nozzle works wonderfully comfortable and also very thorough.
Ziglint Z5: Conclusions and Reviews
A “real” canister vacuum cleaner will probably not replace the Ziglint Z5 in most households.
It is rather a very powerful hand vacuum cleaner, which also offers the bonus of a telescopic tube and so can suck at least smaller floor areas, without having to crawl over the floor.
If another stick vacuum cleaner is too weak, but you do not want to spend several hundred euros for a Dyson, the Ziglint Z5 may well be a good alternative.
Ziglint Z5: Price and Where to buy cheaper?
In general, for the money, it is a good option according to its characteristics, and at the moment you can buy a Ziglint Z5 vacuum cleaner for $91, which is a good and low price for the modern device market.
Also, it will be a good choice for a gift, but also an assistant for the house that will serve for a small apartment.
