Today, on the test, I’ve another wireless earbud that definitely deserves their attention are Zendure Zenpods.
This is the first time I come across this brand, but I think that acquaintance with it will be positive. But if I find out the negative aspects, you will definitely find it out in this article.
So far, Zendure Zenpods can be ordered on the Indiegogo crowdfunding platform with a price tag of $65. Yes, the price tag is not the smallest as for standard earbuds, because these are not quite ordinary headphones.
What makes them stand out, the first is the presence of active noise canceling and the transparency mode. Recently, these features have already become commonplace and it is difficult to call them unique. But besides this, TWS earbuds received a cute and stylish appearance, low weight, and a comfortable fit.
I suggest starting a detailed and in-depth review of Zendure Zenpods and checking out how each feature and function works.

Unboxing and packaging
The earbuds are delivered in a small square box in white. On the front, you can find the pattern of the earbuds and the main features. I can refer to them as Bluetooth 5.0, touch control, and others.
While on the back, there is a list of technical specifications.
What was waiting for me inside? This is all the same standard equipment – a charging box with earbuds inside, instructions, Type-C cable, additional ear tips of various sizes.
In general, the equipment, although simple, has everything you need for full use. Now I think it’s worth talking about build quality.
Design, quality of materials and workmanship
Zendure Zenpods come in two different colors. As you guessed on my test in blue, but the manufacturer also offers a white combination. If you want to know my opinion, then blue metal looks much brighter and prettier than ordinary white.
Therefore, if you want to stand out a little, then the blue glossy metallic color will definitely attract attention from the people around it. But on the inside, the earbuds already have glossy black plastic.
Yes, I liked the blue color, but that doesn’t mean I liked the glossy plastic. Its main drawback is soiling and fingerprints remain on the surface of the earbuds.
The build quality is at a high level and I did not find any squeaks or other sounds when wearing this model during my testing. Here manufacturer Zendure has done a good job on the Zenpods model.
As for the comfort of wearing, I did not have a strong disgust and I could wear earbuds for a long time for several hours. At the same time, the weight of one earphone was only 4 grams, and the dimensions were 32 x 20 x 21 mm.
Zendure Zenpods are well suited for both sports and everyday use. I can also note that these earbuds have received protection against sweat and splashes under the IPX5 standard.
Outside, the earbuds have fairly adequate touch control, I did not find any accidental clicks during my acquaintance with it.
The inside of the earbuds has the correct sound guide angle and two charging contacts. There is a microphone hole on the base of the leg.
As for the charging box, the Zendure Zenpods have received the exact same glossy blue metallic color. This plastic, of course, shimmers beautifully in the sun. But again from a practical point of view – the glossy material is not the most wear-resistant. Also, a lot of fingerprints remain on the body of the charging box.
But the build quality is pretty good. For example, the lid received a magnetic connection and it does not play and does not close itself in the open position.
On the inside, under the lid, there are earbud seats and an LED indicator. On the back of the case, there is a Type-C charging port. I note right away that wireless charging is not provided in the box.
Connectivity, latency, and touch controls
Most modern earbuds already receive Bluetooth 5.1 and even 5.2 versions, but the Zendure Zenpods model uses Bluetooth 5.0 for now. Despite this fact, I did not find any dropouts or disconnections. The connection was always stable and strong even over a long distance of 10 meters or through a wall in the next room.
The earbuds provide several modes of operation – these are ANC, ENC, game mode, and standard. When using Game Mode, the latency is around 80ms, which is really short for TWS earbuds.
For example, I found no lag when watching videos on Youtube. But in games, there is a small, but insignificant delay, but it is difficult to call it critical.
Now a little about touch control. It’s really well-chosen here and has all the features you need except volume control.
- One-touch leads to pause, play, accept, or put on a phone call.
- Double-tap – switch tracks forward or backward depending on the earbud channel.
- A triple tap brings up the voice assistant on your smartphone.
- Hold 3 seconds – switches between ANC, ENC, and standard modes.
Sound and microphone quality
The new model of Zendure Zenpods wireless earbuds received a 13 mm dynamic driver. As my practice has shown, the volume level has a good margin and it will be comfortable to listen to your favorite music in noisy places.
But besides this, the earbuds were equipped with active noise cancellation. The ANC function works no worse than on the Apple AirPods Pro model. Both models block ambient noise by 80%. I have traveled several times in noisy places like the subway near the highway and I could really enjoy good music.
In addition, I liked the work of the ENC transparency mode. The manufacturer has well-tuned this mode of operation and the surrounding sounds are clearly audible. This mode is useful if you need to hear the surrounding sounds from the city or when you are talking to your interlocutor.
As for the sound itself, the low frequencies play quite aggressively and at the same time have a massive and deep bass.
The mid and high frequencies have received the correct tuning range. Thus, the voices of the performers, as well as the musical instruments, play crystal clear and beautiful.
In general, if we compare the sound quality with flagship earbuds, for example, with Apple AirPods Pro, then the sound quality is very similar. I liked how the earbuds from the new Zendure Zenpods sound.
If we talk about the quality of the microphone, then I have a mixed opinion. In a quiet room, the microphone works well. But in noisy places, the interlocutors said that it was bad to hear me.
Battery and run time
In each earbud, the manufacturer has set a 35 mAh battery capacity. Despite its small capacity, the Zendure Zenpods played about 6 hours at 50% volume. This is a really good indicator of modern earbuds.
If you use the ANC mode, then the battery life will be reduced to 4.5 hours. Using the charging box, the battery life is approximately 20 hours.
At the same time, the time for fully charging the earbuds does not exceed 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Conclusion, reviews, pros, and cons
Zendure Zenpods is another perfect earbuds I’ve tested. I can pay particular attention to the fact that it is a comfortable fit.
In addition, the sound quality is almost the same as the flagship earbuds. But here it is worth considering that the price does not exceed $100 or $150 if we compare it with the flagship earbuds.
But it was not without a drawback. For example, I can refer to them – it is a glossy and easily soiled body, not the maximum functionality of the touch panel, a microphone in a noisy place could work better.
Price and where to buy cheaper?
At the moment, Zendure Zenpods are only available by pre-order on the Indiegogo crowdfunding platform. The price tag now costs about $65, but I think that when the earbuds go on sale officially, the price will rise by several tens of dollars.
I can’t help but remind you again that the 11.11 sale is coming soon, where you can buy the necessary product with good discounts. Last year, the 11.11 discounts were even more than Black Friday.
