Ulefone Armor 6: Design and Appearance
Ulefone Armor 6 in the analisis is a design and what it offers primarily intended for those who endure endurance with elegance. That does not mean that Armor 6 is an ugly phone.
Indeed, black with these red details, it looks cool to me, but it has a piece, it has. It looks like something Batman wore.
This mass and rubberized armor are exactly what makes it durable and resistant to the super-slim smartphones that are now dominating the market.
The Ulefone Armor 6 has a modern screen format with a notch above the display. It included a front camera, a headset, sensors, and a notification LED.
The bottom of the screen has nothing but flesh, which is around the screen, and otherwise enough, but it will not bother those who buy a robust and durable phone.
The body frame is metal with special rubber bumpers or four-angle reinforcements.
All openings are sealed with rubber stoppers and it is important to keep them in good condition if you think the phone is strong.
On the left side is such a tray for two nano SIM cards or nano SIM and microSD depending on what you prefer.
This drawer is made so that it is very difficult to remove it without the special plastic tool, which you get in the package.
This could be a mystery to those who for some reason often get the SIM or microSD cards.
On the right side are the volume control and power buttons. Both have a great click under your fingers.
At the top is also a sealed 3.5 mm audio output, which will also serve to listen to FM radio, and we only have a plugged Type-C port back down, which many deformed brands do not yet embed in middle price devices.
The back is covered with acrylic, scratch-proof and scratch-proof, and also provides Qi wireless charging of the Armor 6 in the test.
The rear of the back there is a dual camera (21MP + 13MP) with a fingerprint reader and a secondary microphone beneath the main speaker hole, ultraviolet light detector and the Ulefone logo down.
As for the size, the Ulefone Armor 6 phone received 166.0 x 83.0 x 13.3mm and weighs only 268g. For such a giant with large battery capacity, this is an ideal weight and size.
All in all, the Ulefone Armor 6 acts as a tank in your hand, which you will find difficult to break.
You should probably be lucky to fart your hair straight on the screen, and possibly about a bulge to bursting. This plastic will be hard to break from behind, and the shield on the edges is strong enough to withstand everything.
The package also provides protective foil if you have the will to paste it. I’d rather put tempered glass on my own.
Ulefone Armor 6 is quite heavy and bulky in my hand, but it is not difficult for me personally to manage it with one hand.
Ulefone Armor 6: Display
The Ulefone Armor 6, as I said in the introduction, has a modern screen format with a notch on top, and the resolution is Full HD Plus or 1080 x 2246 pixels.
It does not sound particularly at present, but it does not look bad in reality, and the clients who will buy such a phone, a slightly sharper display on the screen does not play an important role.
It’s an IPS LCD screen and looks nice, 6.2 inches is enough to enjoy web content, but also multimedia and casual games.
Today it’s already over, so every application is adapted to these new screen formats, and those that are not a device will if you want to develop it from edge to edge.
The brightness of the lighting is very good for use in the outside, and the readability at an angle is acceptable. The glass is covered by Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
All in all, an appropriate screen for this category of smartphones.
Ulefone Armor 6: Hardware and Performance
Ulefone Armor 6 drives the new Helio P60 chipset. It is not a very special 12nm chip with Octa-Core Cortex A53 with clock speed 2.0GHz and Arm Mali-G72 MP3 at 800MHz graphics.
It has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage with microSD card support. Also, it connecting USB OTG devices such as external memory is also supported.
This is not a configuration for gaming, but navigation with a user interface is mostly smooth and free of annoyance.
I’ve also tried a couple of games purely for you to have some idea about these capabilities of this device.
Asphalt 9 and PUBG Mobile on Armor 6 spin with a certain amount of torture and a pretty strong impact on the battery.
The print reader is here on your back, it works decent, and so does Face Unlock with a lower security level.
The call quality is average. If you choose to insert a microSD card, you can insert another SIM into it and have two numbers.
4G supports 800, 900, 1800, 2100 and 2600 MHz. Mobile Internet speeds are expected, and the outdoor location GPS also determines quickly and accurately.
Ulefone Armor 6: Software
Ulefone Armor 6 comes with clean and stock Android 8.1 with minimal modifications.
All language languages are supported, you will also find English because it is probably not all translated to the end.
The lock screen here is typical, with the exact time and notification received, showing the camera and Google Assistant shortcuts.
On the Home screen, the end left page is reserved for Google Feed, but can be turned off.
In the app menu, slide your finger upward. While up to 5 icons of your choice. Below is the navigation bar with the 3 standard navigation buttons, and it is possible to replace the left and right keys and hide the navigation bar.
By dragging the status bar downwards, the Quick System Settings Notification Center opens which sequence you can also adjust.
By clicking the Multitasking button you will get the map view of the applications you have recently used and of course, the Split Screen works in two at a time, making Armor 6 in the test work without too much trouble.
The default web browser is Google Chrome, and the surf experience on this device is quite comfortable. The default keyboard is the Google Gboard with support for the HR language.
Google Play Music and Photos apps are set to play multimedia files, and FM Radio is supported. The loudspeaker is one and is on its back but is not bad.
Also worth noting is the presence of NFC and Google Pay support. This means that you can use your account to pay for wireless payments.
It is not easy to tame it, even when it is lying on the table because the sturdy frame of the back of the body gently rises from the surface.
There is no Chinese bloatware application. So with Google’s mandatory applications, we only have FM Radio and Ulefone set tools called Outdoor Toolbox, which include Compass, Flashlight, Libel, Magnifier, Alarm, Height Measurement, and Wall Hanging Aids. It was free and without it.
Ulefone Armor 6: Camera
Ulefone Armor 6 is not a make-up phone, so it does not really matter to cameras.
Still, on the back, it carries a dual camera in the 16 + 8MP configuration, with interpolation capable of recording 21 + 13MP photos.
The aperture is f/1.8, also there is optical stabilization, and it should be expected much from the camera in low light conditions.
Also, in conditions with lots of light, it will record very decent photos and OK 1080p video.
The front has an 8MP selfie camera, which interpolates 13MP photos, supports beautifying effects and captures 1080p video.
The camera interface of Ulefone Armor 6 in our analisis is straightforward and without too many options.
It offers several different modes of recording, including SLR, which offers an attempt to blur the background, which is not particularly successful, but as I have said, those who buy a rugged smartphone on the construction site are the last holes in the camera.
On the other hand, the adventurers who are climbing through the goggles and jumps on junks would like to see a better camera for recording their memories.
See the galleries below to see the quality of your photos and videos yourself.
Ulefone Armor 6: Battery
With such a rugged phone it is also a powerful battery. Here’s a capacity of 5000 mAh so it offers at least two days of intensive use, and those who do not have the time to play and more than that.
Cool is that it is supported and wirelessly charged by the Qi standard by 10W.
Of course, this 5000 mAh will be recharged wirelessly throughout the night, but overnight it’s OK. With a battery charger, the battery is charged for less than 3 hours.
Ulefone Armor 6: Conclusions and Reviews
Those who are first and foremost looking for a robust and durable smartphone in Ulefone Armor 6 will find a good alternative to CAT devices.
It will offer a robust and waterproof device that you will hardly destroy, a very decent screen with a notch, a powerful battery, a wireless charger, a fingerprint reader, and a Face Unlock.
The cameras could have been better and the driver chip and newer, but these are the compromises that those looking for such a rugged phone will most likely agree to.
Ulefone Armor 6 in our review, you can find many useful features, such as an ultraviolet light detector and much more.
In addition, a good and powerful processor for the middle-class devices will be good with games, but on the middle graphs settings.
It will be the perfect phone for those who need a modern and stylish phone, but also have good protection with all the steps.
Ulefone Armor 6: Price and Where to buy cheaper?
As for the price? Currently, the standard package Ulefone Armor 6, you can buy at a good price for only $359.99 with a wireless charger and protective film for free.
In general, this is an interesting offer for those who need a modern phone with lots of shticks with reliable features.
