The German brand TrekStor is daring to enter the premium segment with the new TrekStor Primebook P13. The 13.3-inch notebook is offered in two different versions and costs 799 euros.
TrekStor Primebook P13: Specifications
Until now, TrekStor had mainly cheap Windows devices in the offer, which were partly also in cooperation with the picture newspaper as a Volks Tablet on offer were. The new TrekStor Primebook P13, on the other hand, is intended for the first time to address discerning buyers and is equipped with a 13.3 inch full HDD display. Thanks to its 12.9 mm thick aluminum housing, the notebook is a valuable impression and can be impressed with a Windows Hello-compatible fingerprint sensor, for example.
The different models
If you choose the cheap version of the TrekStor Primebook P13 for 799 euros, you get an Intel Core M3-7Y30 dual-core processor and 4GB of memory. The SSD is not very large with 128 GB but should be enough for some files and programs.
The Primebook P13 is also available with the more powerful Intel Core i5-7Y54, which has 8 GB RAM aside. With a 128 GB of SSD memory, 999 euros are payable, for the more expensive model with 256 GB, 1,099 euros must be placed on the table.
Only 1x USB Type C
Like some current notebooks, the Primebook P13 is spartan in terms of connections. In addition to a jack socket, only a USB Type-C port is visible on the 1300 gram aluminum case, but adapters on HDMI and USB A are at least included.
The TrekStor Primebook P13, which unfortunately has no official values at the time of its recharge, can already be pre-ordered on Amazon in all three versions. Surprisingly the prices are already 100 euros under the announced UVPs.
