Today I want to share with you another wireless earbuds from Anker, which are called Soundcore Life P3.
On my way, I often came across wireless earbuds from the Anker brand. And after a full test of Anker earbuds, I was always only under positive impressions.
You can find out how the new model of TWS earbuds will perform in this full review. That is, here I will tell not only about my impressions of the quality of sound and microphones. But we will also talk about the comfort of fit, build quality and materials. Therefore, if you want to know the main advantages and disadvantages of the current model of earbuds from Anker, I recommend reading this detailed review in full.
As far as cost is concerned, you can now grab the Soundcore Life P3 wireless earbuds for a decent price for just $80. You might think that the price is not entirely sweet, but in fact, the technical features of the earbuds surprised me a lot.
For example, the new earbud model received an 11 mm dynamic driver inside the case. Also, the device was equipped with 6 microphones, that is, three on each channel. You can also highlight the presence of functions such as active noise cancellation, transparency mode, the presence of wireless charging and much more.
In addition, the earbuds have been IPX5 sweat- and splash-proof, and have a gaming mode with minimal latency. But the battery life will also delight the future user with 7 hours of work. Therefore, I propose to begin my in-depth inspection and test to find out the strengths and weaknesses of the new earbud model from Anker.

Unboxing and packaging
The new Soundcore Life P3 earbud comes in a small square package. On the front, you can find a drawing of the appearance of the earbuds with the model name and the main technical specs. But on the back of the package are the main features of TWS earbuds.
Meanwhile, a charging box with earbuds inside was neatly packed inside the package. In addition, there was a small box with additional silicone ear tips and a Type-C charging cable. There was also various documentation on the use of wireless earbuds.
Yes, perhaps the package is very typical for this class of devices. But I especially liked the presence of high quality silicone ear tips. Now I propose to start my test by analyzing the appearance and quality of execution.
Design, build quality and materials
In my review, the Soundcore Life P3 earbuds were made in black. But the manufacturer also offers a large number of different colors to choose from, such as blue, red, white and blue. But I want to note that currently only headphones are available in black. Therefore, I hope that other colors will also be available in the near future.
If we talk about the quality of performance, then I did not find any special complaints during my testing. All components were well assembled together and had no extraneous noise and squeaks during wearing. I also liked the IPX5 sweat and splash resistance. But this does not mean that you can swim in the shower or pool with these Soundcore earbuds.
In terms of materials used, the Life P3 earbud housing was made from a combination of two materials. It is glossy and matte plastic. If glossy plastic was located along the entire contour of the earbuds, then matte plastic is used on the outside of the earbud housing. In addition, I want to emphasize that the plastic was not made from a budget material and during my test I did not find strong abrasions and scratches on its case.
Now it’s worth talking about the most important thing – it’s the convenience of landing. The Soundcore Life P3 earbud model was made in the form of vacuum ones with silicone ear tips and had a foot on the base of the sound guide. That is, the form factor resembles the most typical earbuds from the Apple brand. During my testing, the earbuds fit very well in my ear canal. But do not forget that these are in-ear silicone earbuds, so my ears demanded a pause after several hours of listening to music.
Also, I can’t say that this earbud model is suitable for sports. But if you plan to work out only in the gym, without running, then perhaps the Soundcore Life P3 model will be a good choice.
On the outside of the earbud case, you can find a touchscreen control panel with the Anker brand logo. On the inside of the earbuds, there are two charging contacts. In addition, a metal mesh is used on the base of the sound guide of the earbuds to keep dirt and dust out. It is also worth mentioning that three microphones are used on the body of each earbud.
Okay, now let’s talk a little about the charging box and its features. The body of the case was made of matte plastic with some decorative glossy elements. The Anker brand logo was installed on the cover of the charging box. But the build quality can hardly be called the best, since the lid is slightly loose when closed. Also, the earbud seats had a slight backlash.
If you look at the front of the box, there are LED indicators of the battery charge level. But on the opposite side, there is a Type-C charging connection. Under the cover of the charging box, you can see the pairing or factory reset button. Another of the positive aspects I can highlight is the presence of wireless charging, but I will talk about it a little later. Okay, now let’s find out about the connection quality and other features of the Soundcore Life P3 wireless earbuds.
Connection, latency and touch control
I was a little surprised that the manufacturer Anker used a wireless connection with Bluetooth 5.0 on the new Soundcore Life P3 earbud. It’s a little weird, isn’t it? Even more budgetary earbuds come with Bluetooth 5.2. The following codecs are also on board the device – these are AAC and SBC.
If we talk about communication quality problems, then I did not reveal any special complaints during my testing. That is, the signal from the smartphone was always stable and transmitted without problems through two walls or at a distance of 10 meters.
Ok, now it’s worth talking about a mobile application that is available for both iOS and Android devices called the Soundcore app. The main menu of the application contains a large number of useful functions. For example, here you can adjust the Active Noise Cancellation, Transparency and Game Mode functions. You will also have the opportunity to control the equalizer settings, monitor the earbud charge level, control the touch controls and much more.
As for the game mode, in the PUBG Mobile game during my testing, I practically did not feel much discomfort and my ears did not hear the lag in games. Also, I didn’t have any particular problems while watching videos on YouTube.
At the same time, the touch control worked quite adequately and received a large functionality of various functions. For example, through the touch panel of the Soundcore Life P3 earbuds, you can pause or play tracks, skip tracks forward or backward. You will also have the ability to accept or reject calls, adjust the volume and call a voice assistant. You can customize each of these functions to suit your taste through the mobile application.
Sound and microphone quality
Each Soundcore Life P3 earbud used an 11mm dynamic driver. Therefore, given that these are vacuum in-ear earbuds with a rather large driver, I had no problems with the volume level margin. Yes, I would advise you not to listen to music above 80% volume level, as your hearing will be severely damaged.
If we talk about sound quality, then everything is fine with the Life P3 model. Every frequency range sounds good here. For example, the low frequencies had good and rich bass. This bass did not transition much into the mid and high frequencies.
At the same time, the middle and high frequencies also played at a high level, as for this class of devices. Yes, comparing the sound quality with the more expensive TWS earbuds, even from the Anker brand, the sound in Life P3 was good, but not so perfect. But I can’t say that the new Soundcore earbuds played poorly. Quite the opposite, the sound quality was very close to the flagship earbuds.
As for the active noise canceling function, the manufacturer used hybrid ANC technology on board the device. That is, you can set a certain value of suppressing noise yourself, depending on the conditions of listening to music. In practice, this feature worked quite well, and I did not find any special problems with its performance.
Okay, a few words about the transparency mode. This mode worked well on the Soundcore Life P3 model as well. I could easily listen to music and hear the noise around me. This mode will be useful in an urban environment when you need to hear ambient sounds for your own safety.
As I said earlier, three microphones were installed on board the Life P3 earbuds in each channel of the earbuds. And as my practice has shown, my interlocutors heard me very well in all conditions of use. For example, in noisy places, my voice was slightly distorted, but the surrounding sounds and noises were not audible at all. The same goes for microphone quality in a quiet room.
Battery and run time
Finally, now let’s talk about the battery life of the Soundcore Life P3 earbuds. Unfortunately, I did not find any information on the battery capacity, but the battery life was very solid.
For example, during my testing, the earbuds lasted about 6.5 hours without active noise canceling. But with the activation of the ANC function, the battery life was about 5.5 hours. At the same time, the total battery life using the charging box was about 24-28 hours, depending on the operating modes.
Fast charging was also present on board the Life P3 earbuds and in 10 minutes of charging, the earbuds were able to charge up to 20%. But it took me about 1 hour and 15 minutes to fully charge the earbuds and almost 2 hours on the charging box via the Type-C connection. It is also worth noting about the presence of wireless charging of the case and the total charging time will be about 3 hours of your time.
Conclusion, reviews, pros and cons
Not surprisingly, even the new generation of Soundcore Life P3 earbuds was another breakthrough for me, both in terms of convenience and sound quality.
I think earbuds should have two main criteria – a comfortable fit and a pleasant sound. So, the new model of Life P3 wireless earbuds has these features.
Undoubtedly, this earbud model received a number of positive aspects and let me tell you what I liked about this device. For example, from the strengths I can highlight the presence of modern functions such as active noise cancellation, transparency mode, game mode and a wide range of settings via a mobile application. I also liked the battery life and the workmanship.
But there were also some drawbacks, since the Life P3 earbuds do not have the latest wireless connection Bluetooth 5.0 version. Although I cannot say that the quality of the wireless connection was terrible and poor.
Price and where to buy cheaper?
At the time of this writing, the cost for the new Soundcore Life P3 earbud model was very attractive. For example, you are now able to purchase earbuds at a low price for only $79.99 with free shipping.
Also, the manufacturer offers personalized discounts, and you can grab the device even cheaper by a few bucks. Therefore, without a single doubt, I with a light heart can recommend you a new model of TWS earbuds from Anker for purchase.
