The Siroflo subsidiary does not need to be special in our territories. It is known for its headphone sales.
It has also introduced several wearable devices and is currently trying to take on a fitness bracelet, which will also have the advantage of being able to swim.
We spent several days with Siroflo S1 and we bring you our impressions in our review. So, let’s see the main specs of the new band.
Siroflo S1: Specifications
|Screen:||0.92 inch IPS Color screen|
|Standby time:||up to 15 days|
|Size:||110 x 90 x 10.5mm|
Siroflo S1: Design and Appearance
The Siroflo S1 fitness band in the test has only 20 grams and comes in a discreet design. The rubber band and body of the device make a compact debugger whole.
The Siroflo S1 bracelet has a simple but effective patent to turn on. We definitely did not worry that it would be a disgrace. On the contrary. It was excellent.
On the other hand, it was a bit more challenging to turn it on, as two outcrops came to their place with more effort and a decent degree of concentration.
The IPS color display is 0.92 inches in size and has a small circular touching surface on the underside of the bracelet. During wear, he did not sharpen significantly what we praise.
Siroflo S1 was very comfortable to wear, and his hand was absolutely not under him.
On the one hand, it is thin and on the other hand, it contains a perforation that helps in breathability.
Overall, the design was warm us up, but we can not expect special miracles for about $30.
Siroflo, however, fulfills what it is intended for. It monitors your activities and at the same time does not limit you.
In fact, you do not even know you have him in your hand.
However, the design is better suited to sporty and stylish types of people. The more elegant might choose some with intelligent watches.
Siroflo S1: Display
As we mentioned the new Siroflo S1 bracelet in our test contains a color 0.92-inch IPS display.
It was very readable whether in direct sunlight or normally during the day.
In the price range of $20-30, we do not expect automatic brightness adjustment, but it is a shame that there is no manual adjustment of the display intensity.
It does not seem to look at it at all, but during the night, the information on the display is really too bright and we would certainly welcome a reduction in brightness.
As we wrote, the device is controlled by a smaller touchpad below the display. The point is just a simple tap of your finger and you click through the main menu.
The touches were very responsive. You can activate the display of Siroflo S1 either by manually tapping the designated area or by turning the wrist to the face.
Here’s the time, steps, date, battery level, and Bluetooth connection on the Home screen.
The next card displays special steps only, the next is Heart Rate Measurement, Running and Swimming.
Some bracelets may have more expansive displays, but this design did not hinder us and it was enough for our activities and notifications.
Additionally, this type of display is much more friendly to the battery and you are not forced to think often about charging.
Siroflo S1: Setup and Application
The Siroflo S1 band in our analisis needs to be connected to full use with a pair of applications.
First with the H-Band app, which you download from Google Play. The device shows you the status of the battery and performs the basic settings of the bracelet.
You choose the notifications you want to receive on your wrist, set when you should not disturb the hand on which you want to wear it, whether to monitor sleep, heart rate and so on.
At the same time, there is basic information on the steps taken, the calories burned and the distance.
Siroflo S1 does not include either a microphone or a speaker, so you only notice vibrations for different types of notifications.
We chose the time when we no longer wanted to address the incoming alerts, and until the morning we were quiet.
Interestingly, we did not get the alarm set on the smartphone at the time. We had to choose the alarm in the settings in the H-Band app.
The band on the test was not a problem to sleep. We did not even know we had him – it did not push, did not bother.
Hibernation started automatically after a while and almost sat down with the time of sleep.
The awakening was taken from the moment you took the first steps. In his sleep, he recognized the 3-level bracelet, which he rewrote in the chart.
When using a bracelet, we did not encounter automatic recognition of activity, as with some bracelets.
Siroflo S1: Usage
Controlling the touch-screen display was not quite intuitive at first, we’re used to “browsing” back and forth.
However, you have to move through another 7 cards when you accidentally skip the feature you want to choose. It gets used to it, it just got a little impractical.
When you receive a notification, it is a “home” home screen and you can not know about time and other information until you know it.
We were with him as well, and the bracelet measured heartbeat and the kilometers passed showed the pace of the run, the average speed.
In addition, you can see the record in a crisp chart. Unfortunately, you will not see your route here, as the bracelet does not have GPS.
It is a pity for us because many athletes who are going after this brace would definitely appreciate the feature.
A nice change over most wristbands is the IP67 specification, that is, the fact that you can swim with it, or even more – you can practice swimming training.
While swimming, you do not have the heartbeat and you only see the duration of the training and the number of calories burned.
It also does not recognize the style you used to swim. To summarize, this feature simply means that you have a more comprehensive application record of your physical activity.
Siroflo S1: Battery
The battery of Siroflo S1 in the analisis has a capacity of 90 mAh and is charging through the USB port on side of the device.
It charges the device through the USB port on the side.
The band had a very decent on one charge. Since we did not have it for a long-term test, we did not get to try out all the options with using – discharging.
The test, however, began with the continuous heart rate sensing. In this mode, it held the bracelet battery for 15 days to full discharge.
In about 20 minutes we then managed to charge the bracelet to 30%. During training, the battery does not run too fast, according to the screenshots of an hour-long walk and walking (with the heart rate being switched on, of course), the battery value is still the same.
The next day, however, it jumped to 90%. It also went on the next day, with the third one having only 80% of the battery and the fourth by 70%.
But when we did not do the training, the battery stayed at the same level sometimes even 2 days.
Siroflo S1: Conclusions and Reviews
Fitness band Siroflo S1 in our review is a device that strives to promote you in a healthy lifestyle.
Whether it’s a challenge to activities or swimming training and heartbeat – it’s made for those who want to move.
Unfortunately, we do not find GPS, which is an important feature for many athletes.
However, the price or performance does not play for an ultra-sportsman. If you want to, go to higher price sessions.
Siroflo Band is here for those who want to easily monitor their active lives and have many other options despite the absence of GPS.
In its price category, the equipment is very good and it is hard to find competition.
Siroflo S1: Price and Where to buy cheaper?
At the moment, you can already buy a Siroflo S1 Band at a low price for only $27.50 with a 5% OFF discount.
So, this is a good bracelet for both appearance and which has a quality screen and lots of functions for an active lifestyle.
