Ordinary users begin to forget about the full PC and go to the mini PC. They have much smaller dimensions and low energy consumption. Therefore, I would like to share with you a review of the new model of mini PC under the strange name MII. In common, you can just call M2.
In this review, we will talk about the main advantages and disadvantages, performance tests and evaluate the quality of the assembly and materials.
Currently, MII mini PCs are asked for only $219.99.
For this price, you get an Intel Apollo Lake J4205 processor, 8GB of RAM and 128GB of SSD memory. Also Intel HD Graphics 505 graphics chip and dual-frequency Wi-Fi.
So let’s look at the box and a complete set of mini PCs.

MII Mini PC: Unboxing
In our hands came a small square box almost yellow. On the front of the inscription Mini PC and for what purpose, is also the logo of Intel.
Inside the box, all the components were well packed. We are found MII mini PC, mount with screws for the monitor, instructions in English, power adapter (12V/1.5A), as well as short and long HDMI cables.
In the configuration I liked the presence under the monitor mount, so the table will not be very dirty with unnecessary elements. Also, two HDMI cables came as a surprise to me. In general, as for its price – this is a good package. Now I would like to give your attention to the ergonomics of the device.
MII Mini PC: Design and Appearance
The design is very simple and resembles an ordinary TV box or mini PC. The body is made of plastic. The frontal part is a matte black surface, the side faces are glossy.
If we compare the dimensions of the MII Mini PC with the Beelink J45, then we see that the thickness of the MII is much thinner, but the dimensions are larger.
The dimensions and weight of the MII are 120.0 x 120.0 x 24.0 mm and 226 grams.
The design is quite strong and does not look fragile, despite the plastic case.
As usual, this mini PC is without a fan and therefore completely silent.
The location of the various ports is very unusual. On the front panel is a power LED.
The remaining compounds are distributed on the back, right and left sides. On the right side are two USB 3.0 ports, as well as a slot for reading micro SD cards.
On the back panel, next to the mechanical power button, you’ll find a power port, two HDMI ports, a Gigabit LAN port, and a 3.5 mm audio jack for headphones. The headsets should connect here.
On the left side, I see two additional USB 3.0 ports and air vents.
On the bottom of the device, you will not find rubber feet, most likely you will not need them since there is the amount at the back of the monitor.
The location of the various elements is optimal. Although the front panel would be nice to place the power button.
In general, the appearance of MII Mini PC in our test does not stand out from competitors. It is a robust, robust case with many ports. Also, the presence of four USB 3.0 ports and two HDMI ports will greatly please any user.
MII Mini PC: Hardware and Performance
From the box installed the processor from the company Intel series Apollo Lake J4205. It was released in the third quarter of 2016 but is still popular.
The processor has a 14-nanometer structure with four cores with a maximum clock frequency of up to 2.6 GHz.
The processor works in conjunction with the graphics chip Intel HD Graphics 505 with a frequency of 800 MHz. For heavy games, the performance of the graphics processor will be very small, but for ordinary everyday tasks will be enough.
I was also surprised by 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB SSD of internal memory, which can be increased through a micro SD card slot or an external hard drive.
The speed of the operating system and the launch of the operating system using the SSD of the MII Mini PC was 28 seconds in our analisis.
When you run a large number of tabs and applications, 8GB of RAM will be missed headlong. I did not find any slowdowns or other problems when testing the MII Mini PC.
We conducted a series of testing tests. We launched 4K with 60 frames per second video on a flash drive, MII Mini PC did not cope with the task. There were delays and smoothness was disturbed. It was the same with 4K and 30 frames per second video. When we launched 1080p and 60 frames per second there was no video problem.
I also want to note an interesting point that when you run a video on YouTube 4K with 60 frames per second, no problems were identified. The video started smoothly and without jerks.
What about the games? If you want to take a gaming mini PC, then MII is not your option.
Our hero is suitable for simple games such as Beach Buggy Racing or Asphalt 9 on the minimum schedule.
MII Mini PC is designed for office work, work with documents, also watching movies or streaming on Youtube or social networks.
I also launched the test AnTuTu and MII Mini PC scored 134673 points. This is a good result for its price.
MII Mini PC: Software
MII Mini PC got a full version of Windows 10 operating system. All controls are exactly the same as on a full-fledged PC or laptop.
In the system, you can find the Microsoft application store. You can install some games and applications in it without any problems.
In our version, we have 128GB of memory. 118GB of them are available from us and 102GB of memory is free. That is, 16GB of memory will be occupied by the Windows 10 operating system.
Also out of the box, we get the English version of the user interface, but in the settings, you can change to any other language.
The multitasking is enough due to 8GB of RAM, and during our testing, we did not find any delays or problems.
MII Mini PC: Communications
As for the wireless capabilities, the MII Mini PC in our test has both Bluetooth 4.0 and WLAN from the box. 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wifi support are noteworthy.
In our test, the MII picked up speed is 67 MBps download and 18 MBps upload.
When connecting additional peripherals, such as a wireless keyboard and mouse, we have not identified any problems. Communication keeps well and steadily. We also connected a wireless headset – no problems revealed.
MII Mini PC: Conclusions and reviews
MII Mini PC did a good job and showed good performance, as for the budget version of the mini PC in our review. Moreover, it also includes a full-fledged Windows operating system.
Before buying, you need to think about what purposes you need a mini PC. If you need to perform everyday simple tasks, then the MII Mini PC will be an excellent option.
Also, with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of SSD memory, you can run a large number of tabs in the browser and applications without any delay. SSD memory ensures fast operation of the operating system.
We had a problem with launching 4K video through a flash drive, but when watching a video through Youtube, there were no problems in 4K either.
In general, the MII Mini PC can be described as a reliable and inexpensive device.
