The Mibro company introduced a new smartwatch model to the mobile market, which was named Mibro Lite.
The manufacturer immediately released a global version of the device, so you shouldn’t have problems with languages. In addition, you might think that the Lite version will be some kind of limited, but this is not entirely true.
In this review, you can find out not only about the build quality and the materials used. But I will also talk about the comfort of wearing, check the performance of all functions and conduct a battery life test.
As for the cost, now the price for the Mibro Lite is $60. You may think this is not so little, but in fact the features that the watch offers surprised me very much.
For example, the main technical specs I can attribute is the presence of a 1.3-inch AMOLED screen. This is a truly unique feature that is rarely seen on mid-budget smartwatches. Also, the device has received a light weight with a thin body, which will have a good effect in terms of ergonomics.
In addition, the manufacturer has installed many useful functions in the watch, such as heart rate, SpO2, sports training and others. I will definitely tell you about all the features below in a full and detailed test. Of course, the watch received full IP68 water protection and battery life up to 10 days.
Okay, now let me begin my in-depth exploration of smartwatches from the Mibro company. Therefore, if you are interested in a new watch model, then I propose to find out with me the strengths and weaknesses of the device.
Mibro Lite: Specifications
|Screen:||1.3 inch AMOLED screen with 360 x 360 pixels|

|Standby time:||up to 8 days|
|Size:||43 x 43 x 11.3 mm|
Unboxing and packaging
A small rectangular package came to my review, which was made of white cardboard material. On the front of the package, I found a drawing of the device with the designation of the model name and company. But on the back of the package, there was a list of the main features and functions.
Inside the box itself, I found the following components: directly, the smartwatch itself with a silicone strap. There was also a short instruction with a QR code for installing a mobile application and there was also a two-pin magnetic docking station.
As you can see, the bundle was not very wide. So now I want to move on to the next section and talk about the quality of performance and other design features.
Design, build quality and materials
Of the minuses, I will immediately highlight that the new model of the Mibro Lite smartwatch comes in only one color version, this is in black. But I’m glad the manufacturer offers several color options for the silicone strap to choose from.
If we talk about the materials of execution, then the watch from the Mibro company was made in combination of two types: an alloy of metal around the bezel and glossy plastic on the back. I had no particular complaints about the assembly, since all the elements were well connected to each other and I did not reveal any extraneous sounds.
On the front of the device, there is a 1.3-inch AMOLED screen with a protective and rounded 2.5D glass. At the same time, the quality of the screen was very good, both indoors and outdoors. The readability of the information was at a high level.
In addition, do not forget that the watch uses not a TFT matrix, but AMOLED. It is much more expensive in terms of cost, but it also displays colors and black depth better. The screen resolution was 360 x 360 pixels.
Indeed, the watch received a very deep black color and wide viewing angles. In general, the use of an AMOLED matrix is usually found on more premium watches and I was glad to see this particular technology on the Mibro Lite device model.
On the right side of the smartwatch case, I found the power button, which had good responsiveness and smoothness of pressing. At the same time, on the back of the device there was a two-pin connection for charging, a heart rate sensor and other sensors. But I will talk about their performance a little later.
Also, on the back of the watch, you can still see the detachable strap mechanism. This means that you can easily replace the strap with any other option. For information, I note that the strap was 20 mm wide and 245 mm long. During my wearing, the strap was made of a pleasant silicone material and even in sports it did not rub my hand.
The same goes for the actual wearing, during my testing, the watch was very ergonomic and had a comfortable fit. The dial diameter was 43.25 mm, its thickness was about 11.3 mm, and the weight was about 48 grams, taking into account the weight of the strap.
The last thing I would like to talk about is the presence of protection against water under the IP68 standard. It is fully water resistant, so you can easily get the device wet while showering or washing your hands. But here it is worth noting that I did not see the presence of a sport swimming mode and it upset me a little. Ok, now let’s take a look at the main features of the new smartwatch model from Mibro.
Functions, controls and mobile app
First of all, I want to go through the main screen of the Mibro Lite smartwatch. Out of the box, the device comes with five different dial styles, either analog or digital. But also through the mobile application it is possible to install even more different types of dials, just like your own image. A little later, I will tell you not only about this feature of the mobile application.
Now let’s check the device for the main control gestures. For example, swiping down from the watch’s home screen will display the quick settings menu. This is the most standard menu found on most smartwatches. In this settings curtain, you can see information about the connection to the smartphone, the battery level in percent and the day of the week.
Slightly below the following icons are located: settings, shutdown, do not disturb mode, brightness control, lock and automatic screen brightness adjustment.
In the main settings, I noticed a large number of different sections. These are hand raise screen activation, Always-On Display settings, screen brightness adjustment, screen shutdown time, health reminders, heart rate warning, user interface language selection, vibration level, do not disturb mode, restart, shutdown, factory reset and information on hours.
That is, the list of settings was very wide, and I think these settings will be enough for an ordinary user not to turn on the mobile application on a smartphone once again. But with a swipe up from the main screen, you can see the recent notifications section. During my testing, I did not find any particular complaints or problems with notifications.
Just like on most smartwatches, the new version of the Mibro Lite device has a number of useful widgets. They can be viewed by swiping to the left or right of the smartwatch home screen. These are widgets for heart rate, weather, activity throughout the day, and there is even a plus sign through which you can add or remove widgets.
Well, to enter the main menu of the Mibro smartwatch, you need to press the button, which is located on the right end of the device case. Here I discovered a large number of useful functions: sports modes, exercise history, heart rate, blood oxygen level SpO2, sleep, breathing and pressure recovery, meetings, music player, timer and finding a smartphone. In addition, there are other features such as a stopwatch, calculator, weather and settings.
When it comes to sports training, there are 15 different sports used on the Mibro Lite. This is running, walking, cycling and others, but I did not find swimming on board the watch. Also, the watch did not have a built-in GPS module and this disappoints me a little.
I also want to check my heart health indicators with a medical device. For example, the heart rate on the Mibro Lite watch displayed 78 beats per minute, while on the medical device the result was 79 beats per minute. The SpO2 readings in the watch were about 99%, but 98% on the medical device. From this we can conclude that there is a small deviation, but it was insignificant.
As for the mobile app? Mibro offers to install a proprietary application called Mibro Fit. This application is available for both Android and iOS devices.
After a simple pairing of the watch with a mobile device, the following information will be displayed on the main screen of the smartphone. These are indicators of steps, distance, calories, sleep, heart rate, blood oxygen level SpO2 and others.
In the equipment section, there is such a section as a watch face store. Here you can install many interesting watch faces on your watch. There are also the following settings: notification settings, weather, health reminder, alarm clock, find clock and others. Overall, the mobile app had similar features as most other watch brands’ mobile apps.
Battery and run time
Considering that a 230 mAh battery is used inside the Mibro Lite watch case. This is not the largest battery capacity, but they do not have a GPS module or other sensors. Therefore, energy consumption will be minimal.
The manufacturer promises about 8 days of battery life. It turned out that the hours worked for exactly one working week. I believe that the result in 5 days is also good and you definitely won’t have to charge the watch every day or even every other day.
As for charging time, it took me 2 hours to fully charge. At the same time, the docking station with a magnetic connection was very comfortable to use and during my testing, the charging did not come off and was held securely.
Conclusion, reviews, pros and cons
Mibro Lite is an inexpensive, almost budget smartwatch, but with some interesting features.
The main advantage I can attribute is the presence of an AMOLED screen with a good resolution and a bright, juicy picture. I also liked the functionality with features such as accurate measurement of heart rate and blood oxygen levels.
I also had no strong questions regarding the quality of performance. All components were well connected to each other and did not emit extraneous sounds. In addition, the device has received full protection from water under the IP68 standard.
Now let’s talk about the cons, first of all I will highlight that the watch does not have such features as Bluetooth calls or a GPS module. Also I would like to see a sports training session in the pool here.
Price and where to buy cheaper?
After in-depth testing of smartwatches from Mibro, I was completely satisfied with its work and can easily recommend the device for purchase.
As for the cost, now, you can buy Mibro Lite at a decent price of $59.99 with a 40% discount. It is also possible to purchase a separate strap for a few dollars from above.
