I am already familiar with the Mibro company and today I want to share with you my opinion on a new model of smart wearable watches called Mibro Color.
Earlier, I already tested the Mibro watch, which I really liked. You can read a complete and practical review of Mibro Air watches at the link here. In the same article, you can find out all the details about the new version of the smartwatch, as well as its advantages and disadvantages.
In terms of cost, the Mibro Color is currently priced at just $37 with a pretty good discount. Since this is a budget watch, it would be superfluous to expect supernatural features.
But I propose to go through the main ones. For example, the new watch model from the Mibro brand has received a completely different style when compared to the first generation of Air watches. That is, the manufacturer decided to release a square watch with a similar minimalistic design.
At the same time, the device received a 1.57-inch HD color touch screen. The watch also has many sports training modes. The watch even has full protection against water under the 5 ATM standard. In addition, the battery life will not leave you indifferent to this smartwatch model.
Okay, I think it will be interesting for you to know what the new watch is really capable of in real life. Therefore, let’s start with the analysis of the new watch model in my detailed and in-depth review.

|Sensor:||Heart-rate monitor, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer|
|IP standart:||5 АТМ waterproof|

Unboxing and packaging
The new model of smartwatches Mibro Color is delivered in regular white rectangular packaging. On the front, you can see a drawing of a watch with the name of the model and company. I want to note that the box itself is made of rather thin cardboard, but the device came to my review intact and without damage.
Inside the package itself, you can find – this is, directly, the smartwatch itself with a silicone strap. Also included is a 2-pin cable and instructions.
This is the most typical package for budget smartwatches. There is nothing special here, but you can actively use the device from the first days after purchase. Okay, now let’s check how well Mibro has put together a new smartwatch model.
Design, build quality and materials
First of all, let’s talk about the size and weight of the Mibro Color smartwatch. The dimensions of the device were 47.9 x 35.7 x 11.6 mm, and the weight of the watch does not exceed 51.1 grams, taking into account the weight of the strap. During my wearing, I was comfortable wearing the watch even for an extended period of time. In addition, I did not have any major problems with discomfort during sleep.
Yes, I cannot call the Color watch compact, but it is also not huge. They sat well on my thin hand and in appearance, the watch looked harmonious. I think that this watch model is suitable for both men and women.
In addition, the manufacturer offers a variety of color options to choose from. Although the main color of the watch case remains unchanged, only the color of the silicone strap changes. There are five color options available – pink, blue, black, green, and beige. The choice of options is quite wide.
In terms of build quality, during my testing, I found no build quality issues. All components were assembled perfectly and had no extraneous squeaks and noises. That is, the side end button had responsive travel with good pressure. I was also delighted to see 5 ATM water resistance. This is complete protection against water and you can easily dive to a depth of 50 meters.
The body of the Mibro Color smartwatch itself was made of an aluminum alloy. But on the back of the case, plastic was used in its design. Also on the same surface, there is a heart rate sensor and a two-pin connection for charging.
If we talk about the front of the watch, then there is a 1.57-inch color touch screen. I have not found information on the exact value of the resolution, but the manufacturer indicates the resolution as HD format. How to understand this, I have no idea, but in practice, individual pixels were not visible.
In general, the quality of the screen was very good, given its low cost of up to $40. At the same time, the viewing angles were quite wide and the color gamut had very realistic colors and good contrast. In addition, I can note the presence of a special coating against fingerprints and scratches.
It is also worth talking about the silicone strap itself, which received the standard dimensions of 252 mm in length and 20 mm in width. This is a detachable strap that can be easily removed and, if necessary, replaced with any other option.
But even the standard strap that comes out of the box has a very good quality silicone. That is, during my testing, the silicone strap did not cause me any scuffs or irritation. Ok, now let’s check out the main features and talk about the user interface of the Mibro smartwatch.
Functions, features, and mobile app
The watch home screen offers a choice of five different watch face styles. That is, you can change the style of the watch face with a long press of your finger on the main screen. In addition, you can download other types of watch faces through the mobile application. But I will talk about the functions of the application itself a little later.
Swipe down from the home screen to access the quick settings section. Here I was able to find icons such as do not disturb mode, brightness level, screen lock, shutdown, settings, and find a smartphone. But just below the icons, there is information about the time, date, day of the week, and battery level.
The settings section has a fairly large list of customizable features. For example, here I found – this is the setting of the screen brightness level, the battery life of the screen turned on, the activation of the screen turn-on function when raising your hand, vibration level, language selection, watch model information, and much more.
When you swipe right to left, you can see the following widgets. These include tracking heart rate indicators, activity throughout the day, weather, a music player and there is also a plus sign for adding other widgets. For example, you can add a widget with SpO2, respiration, and others.
There is also an interesting pop-up window that is activated when you swipe from left to right. Here you can see three icons of recently used applications.
To access the main menu, press the button on the right side of the case. The main application menu is a 3 by 3 grid of icons. For example, there are the following icons – heart rate, exercise, SpO2, timer, stopwatch, sleep, breathing, weather, activity, compass, music player, calculator, and settings.
In the sports training section, you can find the following types of sports activities. For example, this is running, walking, exercising on various simulators, and much more. It is worth noting that the watch does not have a GPS module, so your activity can only be monitored via a smartphone.
If we compare health indicators with a medical device, then the deviations are very minimal. That is, the watch showed the result of a heart rate of 103 beats per minute, and the medical device 104. And the oxygen level in the blood was 96% on the watch and 95% on the medical device.
In general, the entire user interface worked quite quickly and without much delay. But now is the time to talk about the mobile app.
The application is called Mibro Fit, which is available on both iOS and Android devices. In the application itself, I was able to observe features such as tracking activity. For example, steps are taken, distance, calories, and more.
Even in the settings, you can choose a large number of interesting additional dial styles. Other features of the mobile application remained the same as on other similar applications in this price segment of smartwatches.
Battery and run time
A 270 mAh battery was installed inside the smartwatch case. The manufacturer promises that the total battery life with active use will be about 7 days.
But as my practice has shown, the Mibro Color device was able to work for about 5 days. Perhaps I was heavily actively loading the watch and during my testing, I received a lot of various notifications from my smartphone.
That being said, it took me about 2 hours to fully charge it via a two-pin cable.
Conclusion, reviews, pros, and cons
I cannot call the Mibro Color a full-fledged smartwatch, but this does not mean that the watch turned out to be unusable.
Of the positive aspects, I can single out – this is the presence of protection against water under the 5 ATM standard. Also, the watch received a very good build quality and the materials used were of a high level.
In terms of functionality, I liked the presence of features such as SpO2 tracking, breathing recovery function, and many sports training types.
On the downside, I can attribute it to the lack of a GPS sensor, no blood pressure tracking function, and no Bluetooth calls the function.
Price and where to buy cheaper?
Currently, the price for the Mibro Color smartwatch will not exceed $37.04 with a 43% discount. But you can also additionally purchase various colored silicone straps and a screen protector. For additional accessories, the manufacturer asks for no more than $2.
Thus, the watch turned out to be of quite high quality and it fully corresponds to the parameters of products from the Xiaomi brand. But the functionality is not the best for its class. Therefore, the choice of watches will only be yours, but I definitely liked the second watch from the Mibro brand.
