The cheap Bluetooth earphones, there are mountains in Chinese stores. I would even classify most as useful for your price.
However, there are also some cheap models that were better than the average. These included the MEIZU EP52 Lite in our review.
Now MEIZU has launched the budget successor to the EP52. Can the new Bluetooth earphones from MEIZU convince in the test?
So, let’s the main specs of the new Bluetooth sports earphone.
MEIZU EP52 Lite: Specifications
|MEIZU EP52 Lite:||Specs|
|Charging Time:||1.5 hours|
|Music Time:||8 hours|
MEIZU EP52 Lite: Desing and Appearance
The MEIZU correspond to the classic structure of Bluetooth earphones. These are not completely wireless.
The left and right earphones of MEIZU EP52 Lite in the test continue to be held together with a cable which runs in the neck during normal use.
The two earplugs are relatively compact, which is why I suspect that in addition to the driver and the battery for the Bluetooth electronics is installed in a remote control.
The ear canal of the MEIZU is slightly angled and has a classic appearance, like the usual earphones.
On the back of the earphones, a magnet is integrated which can hold the earphones together if desired. This sounds like nothing big at first but is very useful in practice.
Do you have the earphones to hang around and use these Temporarily not you can carry them like a chain, so they can not slip unnoticed by your neck.
The earphones are controlled via a wired remote control, which is mounted below the right earphone.
This wired remote control has a microphone, three buttons and the micro USB port to charge the earphones.
The built-in battery of MEIZU EP52 Lite in our analisis lasts about 8 hours + -1 depending on the volume and the type of music.
The built-in microphone is usable but you can hear that you are currently using a headset. In addition, this is rather moderately loud.
MEIZU EP52 Lite: Comfort
I would rate the wearing comfort of the MEIZU EP52 Lite Bluetooth 4.2 earphones as mediocre.
These sit thanks to the classic ear, for example, very firm and safe in my ears, but you can feel very clearly that something is in the ears because of the size of the earphones.
I would not call that feeling painful or uncomfortable, but you have to get used to it a bit.
Also, I would classify the earphones as suitable for sports.
In general, these are comfortable earphones in which it is convenient to play sports, or simply listen to music in the usual mode of the city.
MEIZU EP52 Lite: Sound
Let’s get to the most important, the sound of MEIZU EP52 Lite.
Here I must admit being very impressed with the MEIZU Bluetooth earbuds!
There was a significant jump to the predecessors and most other models in the $20 price range here.
The MEIZU EP52 Lite Bluetooth 4.2 earphones have a clear sound with a decent but not exaggerated bass.
The heights are so far very clean and clear, but not overly strenuous or pointed.
The bass of EP52 Lite is powerful and full without being overdriven or completely overdoing it.
This does not superimpose the middle or the heights. Although you can see in direct comparison with much more expensive Bluetooth earphones, such as the Teufel Move BT that they have a bit more depth, even with the MEIZU bass is very nice and voluminous.
Noise or clearly audible compression artifacts I could not find in the Bluetooth earbuds.
Likewise, the connection quality in my use was easy.
The maximum volume I would classify as good. If you want, the MEIZU EP52 Lite can get really loud.
MEIZU EP52 Lite: Conclusions and Reviews
The MEIZU EP52 Lite Bluetooth Sports earphones will certainly be my standard recommendation for good-sounding earphones in the $20 price range.
Of course, you can still hear a difference to $100 Bluetooth earphones like the Teufel Move BT, but this is not as big as you would think in the price difference.
The MEIZU EP52 Lite in our review has a rich and clean sound with clear highs and a voluminous bass.
Add to that the solid battery life and the comfortable fit which makes the EP52 Lite a very round product in the $20 price range.
MEIZU EP52 Lite: Price and Where to buy cheaper?
Currently, you can buy MEIZU EP52 Lite earphones at an attractive price for only $9.99 from September 24 to 30 and only 50 units per day. Since the usual price is about $25.99.
In short, the MEIZU EP52 Lite is currently the most recommended “cheap” Bluetooth earphones on the European market. Only from about $60 you get significantly better Bluetooth earphones.
