Lypertek has unveiled a new wireless headset that is definitely worth your attention. The earbuds are called Lypertek Tevi and today I will talk about the main features, pros, and cons.
The price of Lypertek Tevi wireless earbuds starts at $90. To be honest, this is not the best offer, but we will definitely check whether they are worth their money.
The Tevi model boasts the presence of a Bluetooth 5.0 wireless connection, AptX codec, Qualcomm processor and many other features.
Therefore, I begin the review by unpacking and continue with the look.
Lypertek Tevi: Specifications
Lypertek Tevi: Unboxing
A small box with a transparent front cover meets us. On the front, you can read the model name and main features, and through the transparent cover you can see headphones and a case.
On the back of the box – the main technical specifications are written in different languages.
Inside the box, I found a charging case, headphones, an English manual, three pairs of ear pads and a Type-C charging cable with a connector.
Considering the price, I was glad to see Type-C for charging, the rest of the equipment is standard like most wireless earbuds.
Lypertek Tevi: Design
The Lypertek Tevi earbuds are made of high-quality plastic, they are small in size and fit well in your ears. Each earbud weighs 5 grams and you hardly feel any weight.
On the front of the earbud is a physical button with the company logo and LED indicator. There is a microphone hole nearby.
I would like to note that most true wireless earbuds have touch control in this price category. Whether this is a drawback or not is up to you, as some users like mechanical switching more.
Pressing the button is easy and when I was listening to music I did not feel any discomfort when switching tracks.
On the back of the true wireless earbuds, there is a four-pin charging hole. The fast charging is present and I will talk about it a little later.
The sound guides got a good and correct angle of inclination and on the base, there is a ledge for high-quality fastening of the ear cushions.
In addition, it is worth noting that Lypertek Tevi received protection from IPX7 water resistance. This means that if the earbuds are completely wet in water, they will not be anything. But I do not recommend swimming in them in the pool.
The charging case is covered with a gray fabric in a box, it looks nice to the touch, and it is excellent in the hands. A good and even I would say a premium solution to use fabric instead of glossy plastic.
The lid opens well, without backlashes and the headphones sit in a case using a magnetic connection.
On the front of the charging box, there are four LED indicators for the level of charge.
The backside received a Type-C port with fast charging.
I have no questions about the build quality – this applies to true wireless earbuds and a charging case. Also, Lypertek Tevi headphones fit well in the ears and even when running they did not fall out. Therefore, you can not only listen to music in transport when you are going to work or study but also play sports in them.
Lypertek Tevi: Connection and Control
The device received a wireless Bluetooth connection version 5.0, and protocols such as aptX, AAC, SBC are also used for a high-quality and reliable connection.
Connection with a mobile device is similar to that of other models of true wireless earbuds. Automatic connection is also present if you have previously been paired with headphones.
The switching is simple – if you click on the physical button once – play/pause or accept/hang up. If you double-click, decrease or increase the volume, and if three times, switch the track forward or backward, depending on the channel, respectively.
Lypertek Tevi: Sound
Before starting to talk about sound, I also wanted to note that a 6 mm graphene dynamic driver is installed inside the case.
Of course, the driver size is not the largest, but the sound is quite voluminous and pleasant while listening to various music.
The low frequencies have good sound quality at a high level of detail. It is also worth noting that the purity and openness of sounds prevail well when listening to such genres as orchestra, classical and even rock.
The bass is not the most voluminous, I heard better, but it sits on a solid middle. And for me it’s good because I don’t like strong bass, but weak too.
The mid frequencies are characterized by high detail and natural sound. When you listen to female or male vocals, they have the right voice. The true wireless earbuds sound around you and do not have a distant hue, and surround sound gives a pleasant sound quality.
The high frequencies, of course, are not ideal when compared with wired headphones, but they are also performed well, as for their price category. At maximum volume, the sound does not hold together and does not produce an unpleasant sound or hiss.
What about the microphone? As you remember, it is not located in the most convenient place, therefore the quality is not the best.
Although, as the manufacturer indicates, the microphone received cVc 8.0 with noise canceling. As practice shows, I hear my interlocutor well, but here it is with a speakerphone effect.
Lypertek Tevi: Battery
I tried to find on the official website about the battery capacity in the true wireless earbuds and the charging case, but nothing came of it. As the manufacturer Lypertek points out, Tevi earbuds are able to work on a single charge for about 10 hours and the total time with a charging box is about 7 hours.
During testing at maximum volume, Lypertek Tevi worked for about 9.5 hours. I was pleasantly surprised, as these are the first true wireless earbuds with high autonomy on a single charge. I assume that each earphone has 65 mAh battery capacity, but this is maybe inaccurate information.
Another advantage is the quick charge, you can charge the headphones in just 15 minutes and earbuds will work for 2 hours.
Lypertek Tevi: Conclusions and Reviews
True wireless earbuds Lypertek Tevi really deserve their attention, as they are very reminiscent of Sabbat E12 or MIFO O5 in terms of build quality and sound.
The sound has high detail and purity, but at the same time surrounds and deep in nature. They are very versatile and during testing, I could listen to absolutely any genre.
Another important feature is the high autonomy of working on a single charge – about 10 hours and the presence of fast charging allows you to charge the earbuds in a matter of minutes.
Lypertek Tevi: Price and Where to buy cheaper?
Now you can buy Lypertek Tevi true wireless earbuds at a good price for $89.90.
Given the nature of the sound, quality assembly, attractive appearance – I can certainly say that Lypertek earbuds are worth the money.
