With the Elephone P8 Mini, Elephone also wants to try again with a quite interesting smartphone, a budget hits in the budget segment. In order to do this, a few things have come to mind. There would be the design. The Elephone P8 Mini is made of metal. This is no longer a rarity in the 100 € segment. Therefore Elephone wants to score with a corresponding processing and a large color selection. Among other things, there is a great-looking version in red.
Elephone P8 Mini: Specifications
Xiaomi is very successful with the cheap Redmi smartphones. However, lately, smaller manufacturers from China are trying to drive an attack against the Redmi Phones again and again. For the cheap beginner area in the price class of around $100 is good, because customers here have now a rich selection of partly really good equipment.
The second point where you want to get rid of the competition are the cameras. As a highlight, the Elephone P8 Mini has a 16MP front camera to offer. On the back is a simple dual camera composed of a 2MP and a 13MP sensor.
To complete the package, there is a relatively powerful MT6750T Octa core processor plus 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory. This hardware then fires a full HD display with a diagonal of 5″. It is still unknown how big the battery will be.
Bottom line, the Elephone P8 Mini seems to offer very much. And for just 99 dollars! Exactly that is the price you will call for the P8 mini to the start (next week). Of course, you have to remain realistic and emphasize that this is a limited advance sale price. It can be assumed that the price will gradually increase until the device is ultimately delivered. One already knows the system from previous Elephone launches.
One may be curious, however, at what final price the Elephone P8 Mini is ultimately expelled. If the manufacturer can keep the price below 150 € and keeps the smartphone in the end what it promises, the device could be a strong alternative to the UmiDigi C-Note and (restricted), of course, also to the Redmi smartphones.
