Recently, Edifier has introduced a sufficient number of wireless earbuds, which I have already tested and have remained under positive impressions. Today I have a review of new wireless headphones called Edifier TWS 200.
If you are interested in reading my other tests of wireless earbuds from Edifier, then you can follow the link here.
The price of the Edifier TWS 200 starts at $40 and for this cost, you will get a large list of various options and features.
For example, the new headphones from Edifier received a 13 mm dynamic driver, support for the aptX codec, two noise-canceling microphones and good battery life up to 6 hours on a single charge.
Before I tell you about the sound quality, let me share with you my impressions of the unpacking and appearance.

Edifier TWS 200: Unboxing
A standard gray box from Edifier came to my review, where I see on the front part a picture of headphones with a charging case, also the name of the model and company.
Inside the box, I was met, directly, by the headphones themselves in the charging box, a MicroUSB format charging cable and an instruction manual.
I understand that these are budget headphones, but I would like to see a Type-C format charging cable, but I will hope that the sound quality will be at a high level and I will check this a little later.
Edifier TWS 200: Design
From Edifier, these are the first headphones, like resemble Apple AirPods, but I can’t call them a copy.
For example, Edifier TWS 200 wireless headphones received not round the leg in the section, but a square section with rounded corners.
The silicone ear tips are not included in the package, as the shape of the headphones is not intended for their purpose. This is a one-piece plastic case, which is well assembled and I did not notice any creaks when wearing.
The manufacturer introduced headphones in two versions – it is in white and black. On my test Edifier TWS 200 is made in white and, as for me, they look better than in black combination.
Like any in-ear headphones, wearing the TWS 200 for a long time will not be a comfortable pleasure. Although I can’t say that they do not sit well in my ear canal and even when running they did not fall out of my ears and held rather tightly.
On the front of the headphones, you can see the name of the company Edifier, a hole for improving the sound of the speaker and an LED indicator with touch control.
The lower part of the headphone received two contact connectors for charging with a magnetic connection and a hole in the main microphone.
In the upper part of the body, there are additional holes for the noise-canceling microphone.
The sound guide is standard for in-ear headphones and there is a protective net on the base to prevent excess debris from entering the case.
As for protection from water, I did not find any information on the official website, so I do not recommend wetting the headphones.
The charging case is quite light and fits nicely in the hand, it also fits in a small jeans pocket without any problems.
The quality of the plastic is similar to that of the headphones, the box is well assembled and even the lid does not have any backlash and opens without any comments.
On the front side of the case, there is only the name of the company, and on the other hand, there is a mechanical button that serves to pair, TWS mode or reset settings.
At the bottom, there is a micro-USB format charging port. One single minus is the MicroUSB port, which I would like to exchange for a Type-C connector. Other comments on the assembly and quality of materials I did not find.
Edifier TWS 200: Connection and Control
The headphones Edifier TWS 200 received a wireless Bluetooth connection with version 5.0, the manufacturer also focuses on the LDS antenna, which holds the signal much better than its competitors. Indeed, the signal is very strong and during testing of the headphones, I did not find any delays and the signal was always stable.
At the first pairing, you need to open the case cover, and the headphones can be left out. Then hold the button on the box for 3 seconds and go to the Bluetooth menu on your device and connect to the TWS 200 headphones.
The touch panel, although not so multifunctional, has all the necessary control functions. For example, double-tap on the right channel – play/pause/accept/hang up. Double-clicking on the left earphone – calls the voice assistant.
I would like to note that the headphones can work both as a pair and separately.
Edifier TWS 200: Sound
A 13 mm dynamic driver is installed inside the headphone case, which is paired with a Qualcomm QCC3020 chip and has aptX codec support.
The sound quality is really good, it is filled with dynamics and depth. In addition, you can find surround sound with good bass.
The middle and high frequencies are well-matched, but the sound is tightened, especially when listening to music at high volume.
I also noticed one moment when the headphone sits well and tightly in the ear canal, then the sound has good depth and volume structure. But if the earphone slightly moves aside, the sound loses its properties.
I was really surprised by the quality of the microphone, as the interlocutors heard me distinctly, even in noisy places.
Edifier TWS 200: Battery
In each channel of the Edifier TWS 200 headphones, a 35 mAh capacitive battery is installed, which showed a good result of battery life. For example, at a volume level of 75%, the headphones worked for just over 6 hours.
In addition, you have the opportunity to recharge the headphones three more times through a charging case with a capacity of 350 mAh. The total battery life will be added by 24 hours.
The charging time via MicroUSB port will be about 2 hours.
Edifier TWS 200: Conclusion and Reviews
After testing the Edifier TWS 200 headphones, I had both positive and negative impressions.
For example, I can attribute to the minuses – this is not a very convenient form of headphones and the sound quality depends on the correct fit of the headphones in the ear canal. Also, the touch control functionality is not very wide and the micro-USB port, instead of the Type-C connector.
As for the build quality, materials, battery life and signal reception, I had no complaints.
Edifier TWS 200: Price and where to buy cheaper?
Now you can order and buy Edifier TWS 200 headphones at a bargain price for only $42.34 with a 45% discount.
If you have long wanted headphones, similar to AirPods, but the price tag was high, then such headphones from Edifier can make you happy.
