Price: $38.76
Price: $38.76 Less

The main difference between BlitZWOLF FYE8 and FYE7 is the appearance, which has changed in the opposite direction. But the filling remained almost untouched, for example, the same dual dynamic graphene drivers, the standard QCC3020 chipset from Qualcomm and also support for the aptX codec.

Will the new wireless earbuds turn out to be top-notch in their class, let’s find out in a detailed review.

BlitZWOLF FYE8: Unboxing

To me for a test, I received a typical box, which has a similar design, like other models of headphones. For example, in the front part, you can see only the inscription model name and company logo.

On the other side, there are the main technical features of BlitZWOLF wireless earbuds.

Inside the box, I found separately lying earbuds and a charging case, as well as for instructions. Another in a separate box was a charging Micro USB cable and ear tips of different sizes.

Given its price of up to $40, the quality of ear tips is not the highest, so when using it is better to replace it with better ones, for example, foam. Micro USB connector charging cable last century and it would be better to replace it with Type-C, as for the model in 2020.

BlitZWOLF FYE8: Design

As I already wrote, the main changes between the two BlitZWOLF FYE8 and FYE7 models are the appearance. Now the new model has a leg, like Apple AirPods, but the main case has a very vacuum type.

The earbud case is made of glossy black plastic, which is well assembled and I do not have any claim to build quality. On the inside, there is transparent plastic through which you can see two main emitters.

The minus of the case, as for me, is the easily soiled appearance, which will be very smeared with fingerprints. Also, the dimensions are not quite compact, so as a carry, they are not suitable for every user.

In my case, the BlitZWOLF FYE8 earbuds sat well in my ear canal and it was not a problem even to engage in active sports. Of course, for a long time, it will be problematic to walk in them, as the ears will get tired. Although this is a typical problem for all in-ear earbuds. The weight of one earbud was approximately 5.5 grams, which is not so much for its class.

The external part of the earbud housing has touch control and an LED indicator. The inside has a channel designation, left or right.

The bottom end has a two-pin connection for charging and a microphone hole.

The sound guide is not very long, but it sits well in the ear canal. The sound guide also received a groove for better attachment of the ear tips. In addition, there is a mesh on the base that protects the earbuds from dust or dirt.

The earbuds themselves received protection against water under the IPX5 standard. Pretty good considering the Galaxy Buds Plus only has IPX2.

The charging case has a cylindrical shape and the dimensions are a bit too big.

Even if you put it in your pocket, it can be a problem. The weight of the box is about 62 grams.

The cover is made of transparent plastic, and the rest of the body is made of aluminum alloy. The connection of the cover to the case is magnetic and the earbuds do not fall out of their seats.

Four LED indicators were installed on the front of the charging box, and a charging port on the back of the Micro USB.

Good build quality, but I have complaints about the materials used. Now I would like to talk a little about communication and usability in terms of touch control.

BlitZWOLF FYE8: Connection and Control

Naturally, the new generation of earbuds has Bluetooth 5.0 wireless connection. The signal range was up to 10 meters without delays and interference, and the signal was broken through two walls.

The first connection is simple and commonplace for wireless earbuds. The first thing to do is open the cover of the charging case, while the earbuds can be left out.

Then go to the Bluetooth menu on your smartphone and connect to the BW FYE8. The further pairing will be automatic.

Touchpad control is everything but volume control. One-touch – play/pause, and also accept/hung up. Double-tap on the right channel – the next track, and on the left – the previous one. Triple touch – call voice assistant. The clicks are accurate, but occasionally random clicks have occurred.

BlitZWOLF FYE8: Sound

The design of the earbuds is very serious, as it consists of dual dynamic drivers, there is also a graphene diaphragm. Having a Qualcomm QCC3020 chip and aptX codec support will give you good sound quality. But is everything really good in practice?

BlitZWOLF FYE8 Review: Dual Dynamic Drivers for $40

In my case, aptX codec sounds a little worse than AAC codec. What reasons for this I could not understand.

BlitZWOLF FYE8 Review: Dual Dynamic Drivers for $40

The low frequencies are very dynamic, there is enough bass, it is quite strong and surrounds. It can be seen that the manufacturer is trying to make a serious emphasis on low frequencies.

BlitZWOLF FYE8 Review: Dual Dynamic Drivers for $40

But the middle frequencies are cut back and the quality is already lame in comparison with the low ones. Meanwhile, the high frequencies are well-assembled and even at high volume, I did not find any very annoying sounds.

The quality of the microphone is average, but due to its good location, that is, closer to the mouth, it is better than ordinary earbuds.

BlitZWOLF FYE8: Battery

The battery life at maximum volume was 4 hours and 10 minutes. Each earphone has a 40 mAh capacitive battery. Naturally, listening at maximum volume is impossible, but at a 70-75% level just right. Therefore, the time will be about 5 hours, as the manufacturer guarantees.

BlitZWOLF FYE8 Review: Dual Dynamic Drivers for $40

The charging box has a 500 mAh battery capacity and through it, you can recharge the headphones an additional 4-5 times.

BlitZWOLF FYE8 Review: Dual Dynamic Drivers for $40

The charging time of earbuds will take you about 2 hours via Micro USB port.

BlitZWOLF FYE8: Conclusion and Reviews

The new generation of wireless headphones BlitZWOLF FYE8 received a completely different design. Of course, many users may like it, but calling it convenient and comfortable is very problematic.

BlitZWOLF FYE8 Review: Dual Dynamic Drivers for $40

The build quality at a decent level, but the materials correspond to their price. Touch control is accurate and almost all functions are executable except volume control.

The sound quality is not the most detailed, but the bass is very strong. There is also a game mode in which there are almost no delays during the shooter.

Battery life is not the highest, but 5 hours will be enough for many users. An outdated Micro USB port is not the best solution, but I think that in every house there is a cable with this connector.

BlitZWOLF FYE8: Price and Where to buy cheaper?

Now you can buy new BlitZWOLF FYE8 headphones at a low price for just $38.76 with a 37% discount.

If you are looking for earbuds for gaming purposes, watching YouTube videos with minimal delay, then the FYE8 model is well suited for you.
