Anker Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro: Unboxing
I was greeted by a small black packaging, where the earbuds themselves, the name of the model and the main functions were painted on the front part.
On the back of the box – the main technical specifications are written.
Inside the box, each element was well packed and I found the following – a charging case and earbud, a long Type-C black cable, instructions and various sizes of ear pads.
Of course, the number of ear pads is large and you can choose the right size for your ears without any problems. The package kit is really premium and has quality materials to use.
Anker Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro: Design
The appearance of hybrid earbuds Anker Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro did not quite get the typical shape. It has rounded edges and the body itself looks like an egg. My first opinion is that this will not be a convenient solution, but in practice, this form was very comfortable.
The build quality is at a high level, all the gaps are good and there are no extraneous creaks. Performed Liberty 2 Pro of matte gray plastic, which is very pleasant, both in the ears and in the hand.
Since inside the Anker Soundcore case, there is one 11 mm dynamic driver and another balanced driver, so the case is not small and has a good weight. For example, both earbuds weigh 17 grams. Of course, this is a lot, but when wearing, I did not have any pressure or discomfort.
The front side of the earbuds has a company logo and here you will not find touch control, as is usually the case.
On the upper part of the Liberty 2 Pro earbud housing, there is a mechanical button for control and also a channel name designation.
The lower part received three contact holes for charging through the charging box.
In addition, the Anker Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro earbuds have two microphone holes, one main, and the other with noise reduction. The microphone uses cVc 8.0 technology.
The sound guides are elongated and have a good shape to ensure sound quality. To substantiate it there is a metal mesh from dirt and dust. Also, with the help of additional silicone earwings, the earbuds will not fall out of your ears while running.
Anker Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro received protection against sweat and splashes IPX4 standard. Naturally, you can’t swim and completely soak in water.
The charging case is made of the same pleasant matte plastic as the earbuds themselves.
The dimensions are small and the weight is only 53 grams, without earbuds, that is, they will fit in your jeans pocket without any problems.
On the top, I see the company logo and name. The lid has an unusual side opening, it received a strong mount and has no backlash.
There are three LED indicators on the front, and the other side has a Type-C port for charging and a charge indicator.
In addition, the Liberty 2 Pro box body has wireless charging.
Indeed, hybrid earbuds received good build quality and materials. They are well suited both for sports and for everyday use.
Anker Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro: Application and control
Of course, the Anker Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro earbuds received a wireless Bluetooth connection version 5.0.
Also, as I already wrote, the device has a new technology called Astria or coaxial acoustic architecture. The new technology provides high-quality sound transmission, almost indistinguishable from wired headphones with minimal loss of quality and delay.
In addition, the manufacturer Anker Soundcore offers to connect the application through a mobile device called Soundcore. The application is supported on both Android and iOS devices.
When pairing the headphones with the application, in the main menu the application offers manual equalizer adjustment or automatic. With the latter, you just need to choose the genre of music that you will listen to.
In the graph of the equalizer or HearID function, you can manually set the sensitivity of the bass level, mid and high frequencies.
Also through the application, you can configure your own music control through a mechanical button on the headphone housing. Convenient function if you do not like stock control.
On the control, one press – play/pause/accept/hang up. By double-clicking on the button – the next or previous track. If you hold for 1 second – call a voice assistant.
Anker Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro: Sound
As I said, the Anker Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro earbuds have hybrid technology. Inside the case, an 11 mm dynamic driver is installed, which serves for low frequencies and another balanced driver for medium and high frequencies.
The sound quality is really good when listening to music you immediately feel good and massive bass. Due to the good size of the dynamic driver, the lower frequencies received surround and deep sound.
Mid and high frequencies are quite clean and have good detail on the instruments. Sounds do not collapse, and the number of musical frequencies is not compressed, so the sound is very saturated and at the same time transparent.
The main microphone with noise reduction shows good sound quality during a conversation, the interlocutor heard me without any problems.
Anker Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro: Battery
A 65mAh capacitive battery was installed inside the body of each earphone, which provides good battery life. Also, in addition, you have a charging case with other 500mAh batteries.
During testing, the headphone battery life at maximum volume was about 7.5 hours. A good indicator, except that you can get a total autonomy of about 30 hours thanks to boxing.
Ten minutes of charge in the case will provide – two hours of listening to music. There is also wireless charging in the case. The charging time through the cable is 2 hours, and if through wireless charging it will be 3.5 hours.
Anker Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro: Conclusions and Reviews
The Anker Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro hybrid wireless earbuds are almost completely perfect, with the exception of a few minor flaws.
The build quality and materials are simply at a high level, they can also be used for sports purposes, as there is protection against sweat and splashes.
The Liberty 2 Pro earbuds are very comfortable even with prolonged wearing; they do not create any pressure on the ear canal and it is a pleasure to wear them.
The presence of two drivers provided high-quality sound, and the new Astria coaxial acoustic architecture provides good dense sound transmission from the source.
Also, through the mobile application, you can customize the sound of each frequency to your taste. In addition, the time on one charge was approximately 8 hours – this is a worthy indicator.
