Today in our review I want to share an alternative version of true wireless headphones called QCY T1C, which are very similar to the Xiaomi Airdots.
QCY recently introduced its latest fully true wireless headphones with Bluetooth 5.0 version. Therefore, in this article, we will look at all the advantages and disadvantages and determine the sound quality if they are better than Xiaomi wireless headphones.
From China, you can order QCY T1C for about $30, so we will rate them as a low-grade segment.
Let’s begin our full and detailed review of the QCY T1C and we will begin with the specs.
QCY T1C: Specification
|Sensitivity:||106dB ± 3dB|
|Dimensions:||3.0 x 2.0 x 1.8 cm|
|Music Time:||20h (with case 18 hours)|
QCY T1C: Design and Appearance
The first thing I noticed in the design of the QCY T1C is the size of the headphones and the charging case.
The true wireless headphones and a charging case have a very small weight of only 31 g. The dimensions of the case itself are very compact. Therefore, we did not have problems wearing, even in narrow jeans pockets.
The charging case is made entirely of matte black plastic. As you can see, QCY refuses the “premium” materials.
Also, the case itself does not have a cover for wireless headphones, so it is difficult to say this is an advantage or disadvantage. As for me, I would like the wireless headphones to be completely covered in the case and not contaminated with dust.
Despite the simple plastic case, the charging case is quite durable and well made.
Like other true wireless headphones, the QCY T1C is held by magnets in its case. Even if you turn it over, the headphones won’t fall out, great! Also, magnets help to insert the headphones in the correct position.
There is a small battery charge status LED in the charging case.
Using a protective and charging case, you can charge a QCY T1C up to 4 times without the need to connect to the power on. If the case itself is discharged, then it can be charged via the micro USB port on the back panel.
The headphones themselves must hold a charge for 4 hours, according to QCY, but in my test, we were able to discharge in 3 hours. Yes, everything is possible and achieved 4 hours, but at a low volume.
This way, you can listen to music or audiobooks for up to 20 hours before you need a charger.
As with the charging case, wireless headphones are also made of matte black plastic and they are extremely compact.
QCY T1C headphones are controlled using a small touch panel on the back panel. With it, you can stop or switch the track.
If you put the headphones in the case, they are automatically turned off, and when you pull them out they automatically turn on. It works great in everyday life.
In general, the design and appearance of the QCY T1C true wireless headphones in the analisis are well made, and as you can see, they are very similar to the design of Xiaomi Airdots.
QCY T1C: Comfort
For true wireless headphones, the QCY T1C in our test is relatively small and compact. Of course, the small size is perfect for a comfortable fit.
QCY T1C is very light and unobtrusive in the ears. I have never had the sensation of a foreign body in my ears.
In addition, they are well kept in the ears. Even while running, there were no problems with headphones falling out.
QCY T1C: Sound Quality
The most exciting moment, of course, is the sound. I think it would not be a lie to admit that QCY T1C shook me!
With such compact true wireless headphones, I expected a good sound thanks to the QCY name, but the sound is the main positive point.
The most important and most surprising factor is undoubtedly the bass. QCY T1C in our analisis have a very powerful and incredibly surround bass. The bass is not only very powerful but also very high quality.
I was also a little surprised at how much sound pressure these little wireless headphones create. If you like a loud sound, as well as good bass, then you no longer want to change your T1C to something else.
The QCY T1C is not just stupid bass bombers, but a well-tuned bass. Also, the sound does not seem empty, it is quite full and warm.
In the upper and middle range of QCY, the sound quality is still impeccable.
The height of the QCY T1C is still very clear and clean, especially at the top. Lower levels may be slightly weaker, depending on the song and how the bass is added.
So I would classify the heights as very neat! However, the bass clearly dominates. Here it depends on your taste, whether it suits you or more neutral headphones will be better for you.
QCY T1C is clearly eager for a lively and very dynamic sound, and they do it very well!
Among other things, the T1C sound seems relatively large due to the high volume of the low frequencies. Yes, there are headphones that make the sound a little better, but they are not even for $100.
Even the maximum volume is quite high, and this is rarely seen in wireless headphones.
QCY T1C: Signal Quality
The signal quality of Bluetooth wireless headphones is always very important and not entirely problem-free topic.
Many true wireless headphones tend to lose signal while listening to music. However, I will not notice this problem with QCY T1C in the test!
They have pretty good signal quality thanks to the Bluetooth 5.0 wireless connection. In everyday life, I had no interruptions in the signal, and even when I tried to signal that the signal had stopped, QCY T1C was very persistent!
QCY T1C: Conclusions and Reviews
In conclusion of the test to the QCY T1C, I can confirm that this is one of the best true wireless headphones for its price up to $30.
In this price range it is difficult to find a competitor, but as I wrote at the beginning of the article, the QCY T1C is very similar to the Xiaomi Airdots, both external and in sound. If to compare with more expensive models, for example, Jabra Elite 65t, then it will be difficult for them to compete with QCY T1C even in sound quality.
The QCY T1C is a very powerful and compact wireless headset. If you like good bass, then you will surely love the T1C!
But if you are looking for balanced headphones, then they will not suit you.
The headphones are quite small for wireless models, so they sit very well and comfortably in your ears.
Surprisingly, under compact dimensions, neither sound nor battery life suffers. T1C has about 3 hours of battery life, which is not bad for a fully true wireless headset!
Also a good signal quality, which is at $ 300 as Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless.
In short, QCY T1C is a headphone for which you can just love QCY.
QCY T1C: Price and where to buy cheaper?
Currently, you can buy a truly wireless headset QCY T1C with a charging case at a good price for only $32.32.
For a relatively small amount, you get high-quality headphones in the price range of $100-150. Therefore, the full recommendation on my part!
