Huawei has announced three new tablets MediaPad M3 Lite 10 & MediaPad T3 designed specifically for the multimedia area. Above all, the price of cheaper models is appealing.
MediaPad M3 Lite 10: Specifications
The Huawei MediaPad M3 Lite 10 is the stronger and better-equipped device, while the Huawei MediaPad T3 in the 8- and the 10-inch version comes at a lower price with something Weaker specifications.
Based on the specifications, it is clear that Huawei has focused on music and video playback on the MediaPad M3 Lite 10. The display measures a diagonal of 10.1 inches, dissolves in Full HD (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) and is said to be particularly strong according to the group’s colors. Four loudspeakers with a Harman Kardon certification ensure a decent sound.
Inside the tablet is a Snapdragon 435 with eight cores and a clock frequency of 4 x 1.4 GHz and 4 x 1.1 GHz, respectively. The memory is 3 GB, while the internal memory is 32 GB. This can be extended via microSD card. There is also an 8 MP camera at the back and front. Completing the device is the battery with a capacity of 6,660 mAh, Bluetooth 4.2 and Android 7.0 Nougat including EMUI 5.1, the latest version of Huawei’s user interface.
Huawei MediaPad T3: Specifications
The MediaPad T3 is available in two sizes. The display can be either a diagonal of 8 inches or 10 inches. The outer shell is made of metal. The interior is identical on both models: a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 with four arithmetic units drives the tablets at a clock frequency of 4 x 1.4 GHz. The capacity of the memory is 2 GB, while the memory is 16 GB. This can be extended by microSD card by up to 128 GB. On the MediaPad T3 Android 7.0 Nougat is preinstalled with EMUI 5.1. The total package is rounded off by a 4.800 mAh battery as well as the main camera with 5 MP and a 2 MP front camera.
Due to the specifications, the MediaPad T3 is suitable for use at home on the couch as well as for multimedia entertainment during train or bus rides.
MediaPad M3 Lite 10 and MediaPad T3: Pricing and Availability
As of June 1, 2017, all three new tablets will be on the shelves of the electronics retailers. For the better equipped M3 Lite 10 in the wireless edition, Huawei communicates an EIA of 299 euros. For the device with LTE module 349 euros are due. In the price comparison, the M3 Lite 10 sorts itself in the middle:
The two MediaPad T3 models are somewhat cheaper. The 8-inch variant is to cost in the WLAN version 179 euros, while the LTE variant with 229 euros. The tablet with a screen diagonal of 10 inches is to be available at a UVP of 199 euros or 249 euros in the LTE version. The equipment is available in the color gray.
