LG is bringing the mid-range smartphone X Power 2 to the European market, which is to bribe thanks to large batteries with a long running time. Apart from this peculiarity, however, it is an all in all quite unspectacular device with Android 7 nougat.
LG has announced with the X Power 2 a new medium-class smartphone for the Europe market, which is characterized in particular by a long Akkulaufzeit. The device has already been presented as part of the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 and is, as the name suggests, the direct successor of the LG X Power.

As with the predecessor, the new X Power 2 is the name program. LG installed in the case of the smartphone a non-replaceable battery with a capacity of 4500 mAh, according to official data up to 15 hours of continuous video playback or 14 hours of navigation are supposed to be possible. If the rich energy storage is then completely emptied, it can be recharged to 50 percent within an hour. A full charging cycle takes two hours according to the manufacturer.
The display of the new, 164-gram LG model has a screen diagonal of 5.5 inches but offers only HD resolution (1280 x 720 pixels). The smartphone is powered by a Mediatek-SoC, which has a total of eight CPU cores operating at up to 1.5 gigahertz clock frequency. In addition, the 8.4 millimeters thick chassis has 2 gigabytes of RAM, 16 gigabytes of flash memory, a microSD card slot, an LTE modem and a wireless module that supports both 802.11 b / g / n standard WLAN and Bluetooth 4.2.
The hardware of the X Power 2 is complemented by a backside 13 megapixel main camera with LED flash and f / 2.2 aperture as well as a 5-megapixel front camera with 120-degree wide-angle lens and also LED flash. As an operating system runs on the device Android 7.0 Nougat with a manufacturer-adapted interface called UX 5.0.
