Just introduced the iPhone 11 Pro with three cameras on the back, so Chinese companies immediately took up arms and presented their model called the CUBOT X20 Pro.
This is not the first time that CUBOT has been producing its models using this copying method for top brands, and it is bad or good to judge only you.
In this article, I will not compare the CUBOT X20 Pro with the iPhone 11 Pro, since this is not logical, both in price category and in performance in general. I wanted to share my opinion about the characteristics and talk about the main features.
Given its $150 price tag, the new CUBOT X20 Pro will be an interesting choice.
The CUBOT X20 Pro received a large 6.3-inch screen with a waterdrop notch for the front camera, an Helio P60 processor, 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory. It is also worth noting that the model from CUBOT received interesting sensors, such as 12-megapixel Sony IMX486, 20-megapixel Sony IMX350 and 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor at 125 degrees.
First, I would like to talk about unpacking and what you get inside the box.

CUBOT X20 Pro: Unboxing
The X20 Pro will go on sale in a black square box where only the model name will be written on the front.
The following components will lie inside the box – this is the smartphone itself in protective cellophane and a silicone transparent case and manual.
In a separate compartment, there will be a Type-C charging cable and a 5V and 2A power adapter.
As for its price of $150 you should not expect a large number of additional buns, so I can say in the affirmative that the equipment is decent.
CUBOT X20 Pro: Design and Screen
As I already wrote in appearance, the CUBOT X20 Pro is very similar to the presented model of the iPhone 11 Pro, but of course, the differences are visible to the naked eye.
The first obvious difference is located on the front – a notch for the front camera. In the X20 Pro model, the notch is made in the traditional style of the Chinese model’s waterdrop style, and the new iPhone has a large notch as it was on previous models.
Also, the location of the main sensors on the rear panel is slightly different. But not about comparison, since the price in these models is completely different.
The main features in the appearance of the CUBOT X20 Pro are a frosted glass surface on the back with three sensors and a flash.
It is also worth noting that the frames around the rear and front glass are made of metal. And again, given its price of $ 150 – it is difficult to find a similar smartphone using these materials.
On the right side are the power button and volume rocker. On the opposite side are a slot for dual nano-SIM cards, or one nano-SIM card and a memory card up to 128GB.
It was good to see the Type-C port on the bottom with the main speaker and microphone.
On the upper edge is a 3.5 mm audio output for headphones.
The device is not small in size and is 157.1 x 74.6 x 8.5 mm and 200 grams of weight.
On the front, almost the entire area is occupied by an IPS screen with a size of 6.3 inches and a resolution of Full HD, i.e. 2340 x 1080 pixels.
As for its class, this is a typical screen that shows good color reproduction, also has good brightness and decent viewing angles.
If you have encountered previous CUBOT models, then I can confidently say that the picture quality will not be better or worse.
Again, for its price of $150 the IPS screen received Full HD resolution, which is rare and for this CUBOT is a fat plus.
CUBOT X20 Pro: Performance and Software
Also, the performance of the CUBOT X20 Pro is pretty good, as for its price. I was even a little surprised to see the Helio P60 processor, 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory.
We have already tested smartphones with the Helio P60 chipset and I can say that it is not so bad. Well, for example, if you look at the synthetic AnTuTu test, the X20 Pro model scored about 175,000 points. The result is just above the middle-class smartphone.
In general, as for modern demanding games, for example, PUBG Mobile or Asphalt 9, this performance will be enough.
CUBOT X20 Pro runs on the latest version of the Android 9.0 operating system with an almost clean user interface.
Therefore, I can confidently say that the user interface will be fast and stable.
CUBOT X20 Pro: Camera
On the back of CUBOT X20 Pro is a triple-camera in a square shape, like the iPhone 11 Pro.
As I already wrote, here you will find a 12-megapixel Sony IMX486 sensor, a 20-megapixel Sony IMX350, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide 125-degree sensor.
On the front panel is a 13-megapixel Sony IMX214 sensor.
Given that almost all sensors are from the Sony manufacturer, I can say that the quality of the photos will be up to standard. Also, if CUBOT speaks about each sensor, then I can say for sure that all the sensors are not fake.
The camera app on the CUBOT X20 Pro has 15 AI scenes, such as food, portrait, animals, flowers, and more.
The front camera also has an AI function and additional ones, such as beauty, FaceCute, background blur, and others. Also, the front camera has face recognition.
CUBOT X20 Pro: Battery
Inside the case of the CUBOT X20 Pro, a 4000 mAh battery capacity is installed. Given that the smartphone is equipped with a modern Helio P60 chipset, which has less power consumption, I can say that the battery life on one charge will be about 2 days.
As the manufacturer indicates, the battery life is 8.7 hours of 1080p video playback, 6.2 hours in playing games, listening to music – 106 hours and 28 hours – talking time for calls.
The charging time of the CUBOT X20 Pro will be about 2.5 hours through the Type-C port on 5V and 2A.
CUBOT X20 Pro: Conclusions and Reviews
Even though the design and appearance of the CUBOT X20 Pro were copied from the iPhone 11 Pro with some differences, but the smartphone itself showed itself on the positive side.
The large IPS screen with Full HD resolution and an aspect ratio of 19.5: 9 looks very interesting, and the image quality is not worse than smartphones more expensive than class.
The performance with the Helio P60 processor, the smartphone shows good results both in benchmarks and in gaming and everyday tasks.
The camera with sensors from Sony was especially pleased, so the quality will be at a decent level in the daytime, well, and night photos will be no worse than smartphones with a price of $250 or more.
CUBOT X20 Pro: Price and where to buy cheaper?
Now you can buy a CUBOT X20 Pro smartphone at a low and interesting price for only $149.99 with a 40% discount.
As for its price, the device looks premium with a glass case, a triple camera, good performance, and high battery capacity. I recommend the phone for purchase.
