Just the other day I tested an inexpensive projector from the BlitzWolf brand, but today we will talk about wireless earbuds from the same company called BlitzWolf BW FLB2.
The manufacturer highlights the new headphone model with a gaming feature. That is, the BW FLB2 model is well suited not for sports, but for those who like to play games. Therefore, I decided to check if it is possible to buy budget TWS earbuds for gaming purposes or is this all a marketing ploy?
The first thing I want to draw your attention to is the cost of the BlitzWolf BW FLB2 earbuds, which is currently very attractive at about $25. I think you can hardly find wireless gaming earbuds with this price tag. So, let’s see what features you get for this small cost.
Naturally, the design of the earbuds stands out well from the crowd of competitors as it features vibrant green and orange backlighting. The device also received a wireless connection Bluetooth 5.0 version and a 1000 mAh battery capacity of the charging box. I can also note the presence of a minimum latency level of about 65 ms, as the manufacturer assures.
Okay, from the technical point of view, the earbuds look good. But let me tell you how the BW FLB2 model performed in real life.

Unboxing and packaging
I have already said many times that any product from the BlitzWolf brand is easy to recognize by the appearance of the packaging. The same goes for the new BW FLB2 wireless gaming earbuds.
The packaging design is very simple and is made of white rather thin cardboard with green accents. There is nothing on the front of the box, except for the name of the model and company.
Inside the package you can find the following components – this is the charging box itself with separately lying earbuds. I also found documentation, a set of silicone additional ear tips and a Type-C charging cable.
Design, workmanship and materials
Despite the fact that the BlitzWolf BW FLB2 gaming earbuds have a low price tag, I cannot say that the build quality and the materials used turned out to be very cheap.
For example, the earbuds housing is made of matte black plastic. During my test, I had no problems with fingerprints and even after several days of active use, the case remained without scuffs or scratches. Therefore, I have no complaints about the materials used.
At the same time, the build quality also does not give me negative feelings. The assembly is done well, as for the budget TWS earbud model. I did not find any extraneous squeaks and noises while testing this model of BW FLB2 earbuds.
You may notice that the dimensions of the BlitzWolf gaming earbuds are quite bulky. Yes, I will completely agree with you. But as my practice has shown, with the correct selection of silicone ear tips, the earbuds sat in the ear canal very well and, most importantly, firmly. It is also worth noting here that the weight of one earphone does not exceed 4.5 grams.
Perhaps for sports, these earbuds are not particularly suitable. But if you plan to play sports in the gym, then I think that you should not have problems with wearing. I can also note about the presence of protection against sweat and splashes under the IPX4 standard. This is a simple protection, so you should not abuse the wet environment too much.
On the front of the case, you can see the wolf logo with LED backlighting, which glows in green and orange. Also, this panel is used to control various functions, of which there are many, but I will talk about them a little later. A hole for the microphone is located just below.
Meanwhile, on the inside, there is a sound guide with silicone replaceable ear tips. You may also notice stamped channel designation stickers and a two-pin charging connection.
The charging case is also made of matte black plastic. As for the build quality, I have no strong comments. Even the lid has a good stroke and does not close itself during the open position. But to open the lid of the box, you will need to suffer a little. Since at first, opening the lid was another task for me.
On the front of the charging box cover, you will find a similar wolf logo as on the outside of the earbuds. The front side of the case received four LED indicators of the charge level. But the Type-C charging port was located on the right side of the case.
I also want to note that the charging box received a rather large battery capacity of 1000 mAh. Thus, the dimensions and weight of the case will correspond to their technical features. By this I want to say that the box is not so compact and small.
Connection, latency and touch panel control
The BlitzWolf BW FLB2 TWS gaming earbuds use a Bluetooth 5.0 wireless connection with support for AAC and SBC audio codecs. This is not the best generation of wireless, but again, don’t forget that earbuds are priced under $25. Therefore, the presence of the 5.0 version of the Bluetooth connection will be a forgivable feature.
At the same time, I did not notice strong problems with the quality of signal transmission. During my tests, the signal from the mobile device did not disappear in the earbuds. And the signal quality was stable and without any interruptions.
I cannot measure the exact value of the latency, but the manufacturer promises a value in the region of 65ms. This is a solid figure for wireless earbuds. Indeed, the level of latency in practice proved to be positive. For example, I could play the PUBG Mobile game calmly and did not feel any discomfort at all.
As for the touch control, everything is fine here, since I did not detect any accidental clicks and it was comfortable to operate the functions.
- One touch on the right channel – increases the volume level, and on the left – decreases the volume level value.
- Double tap causes play, pause, accept or put a phone call.
- A triple tap switches modes – in normal mode, the indicator will glow green, and in the game mode – orange.
- Holding for 1.5 seconds switches tracks forward or backward depending on the channel.
- If you tap the touch controls four times, you can call the voice assistant function on your mobile device.
Sound and microphone quality
I found no information about the driver size in the new BlitzWolf BW FLB2 gaming earbuds. But I can say with confidence that the volume level will be enough for you with your head and even in noisy places you will clearly hear your favorite music.
As for the low frequencies, I really liked them, especially the massive and rather deep bass. But here it is worth noting that super bass will be available from 50% volume level and above.
But the mids and highs are not as clear as I would like to hear. Yes, there may be some dips in the BW FLB2 model. But I can’t say that the earbuds play very badly. I think that for their cost, the earbuds work out 100%.
That being said, the quality of the microphone is not the worst when I tested it. In a quiet room, my interlocutors heard me without any problems. But in a noisy place, extraneous sounds were heard, but my voice was also well heard.
Battery and run time
Considering that these are gaming earbuds, then the battery life should have good parameters. Therefore, the manufacturer BlitzWolf installed a 50 mAh battery in the BW FLB2 earbuds.
As my practice has shown, the battery life on a full charge was enough for about 3 hours and 50 minutes at 70% volume level. But here it is worth noting about the large battery capacity in the charging box. As I mentioned, the battery capacity is 1000 mAh. It will be enough for an additional 10 recharges of the earbuds, or this corresponds to 40 hours of work.
The time to fully charge the box through the Type-C port will be 1.5 hours.
Conclusion, reviews, pros and cons
BlitzWolf BW FLB2 is a budget wireless gaming earbud with interesting features and good advantages.
The first thing that makes the earbuds stand out is the good build quality and the matte plastic used. I also liked the comfortable fit in the ear canal and the presence of multifunctional touch controls.
I can also note about the good sound quality, both for its value. But the most important feature in the BW FLB2 model is the minimum level of latency, both in games and when watching videos on YouTube.
In general, I really liked the earbuds from BlitzWolf and I can’t highlight the strong flaws, since there are practically none, given their insignificant cost.
Price and where to buy cheaper?
If we talk about the price tag, then it is very attractive. At the time of writing, BlitzWolf BW FLB2 earbuds will set you back for just $23.66 with a 39% discount.
This is a great price for a budget TWS gaming earbud with a lot of features and functions.
