360 S6 Robotic Vacuum Cleaner is the name of a new robot from China, which has been making headlines recently.
Among insiders, it is a bit longer than a real insider tip! We were skeptical and have now extensively tested the 360 S6 Robotic Vacuum Cleaner.
Although we are always quite critical of such rumors and are not impressed so quickly by a robot, this time we have to agree with most reports.
The new robotic vacuum cleaner 360 S6 in our review is almost $350, so it can not score in the low-cost range, we thought.
In addition, the manufacturer also advertises with a systematic cleaning and navigation, so properties that do not always perfectly master even very expensive robots. So, let’s see the main specs of 360 S6 Robotic Vacuum Cleaner.

360 S6: Desing and Appearance
Regarding the processing and the optics, there is nothing to complain about in the 360 S6 Robotic Vacuum Cleaner and its charging station in our analisis.
The white glossy case looks refreshingly modern. The charging station or charging contacts are a little reminiscent of Neato vacuum cleaner robots or Vorwerk.
The dirt compartment with the integrated Hepa filter is transparent and easily removable from the top. It is easy to open and it is easy to remove and empty the dirt container.
Especially the rubber seals are processed, the manufacturer has really made an effort here so that no suction at leaks is lost.
However, the dirt compartment is not very large, an exact size specification we could not find anywhere, it is estimated to be about 0.4 liters.
Also, it has been shown that it is also sufficient for heavily polluted rooms and apartments but should be emptied as with most vacuum robots after the cleaning process.
The high suction power of the 360 S6 Robotic Vacuum Cleaner (which is an impressive 1800pa) also ensures that the dirt, compared to low-cost vacuum cleaner robots, more compressed in the dirt compartment.
The vacuum robot is operated by two illuminated buttons on the top of the device and is really easy.
The one button starts the automatic cleaning process, the other sends the vacuum robot prematurely back to the charging station.
If you limit yourself to these functions, then you miss no English user manual.
As you can expect at the price of $350, offers the 360 S6 Robotic Vacuum Cleaner next to a side brush for edge and corner cleaning also a real horizontal electric brush.
When building the brush, the manufacturer has certainly looked at the latest technologies of the top devices well, it also uses a brush that consists not only of soft bristles but also soft rubber blades.
This technique has already proven in a similar form at the Roomba, Vorwerk or Neato. The dirt absorption is thereby increased and the annoying wrapping of the brush with hair or animal hair is reduced.
A good cleaning performance is always the interaction of good electric brush and high suction power, unfortunately, both often come together only with top robots.
360 S6: Power and Performance
As already mentioned, the manufacturer indicates a suction power of 1800pa. This would even provide the robot with a significantly higher suction power than the more expensive top models such as Roomba 980, Miele Scout RX1, LG Homebot, Neato Botvac and other top-of-the-line robots.
Of course, we can not say whether this information is exactly correct due to the lack of a measuring laboratory, but we can confirm that the suction power is very strong, as proven in the suction test.
Although the brush is significantly less wide at 165 mm than, for example, the Neato or Vorwerk VR200 vacuum cleaner robot, this is not necessarily a disadvantage with the 360 S6 Robotic Vacuum Cleaner.
It concentrates its suction power on a smaller surface which increases the suction effect. It balances the rest with his very intelligent driving strategy.
It drives the rooms down very carefully in overlapping tracks and so also reaches all the places directly with his electric brush, even very fast.
Only at the edge, it has to rely on suction and side brush, which, however, also worked convincingly in the test.
360 S6 Robotic Vacuum Cleaner: Test
As always, we have tested the vacuum robot after charging for the first time in a normal living room.
To test whether the robot really reaches all parts of the room, we have distributed as usual paper scraps in the room.
In this test, the 360 S6 Robotic Vacuum Cleaner was completely convincing. On the one hand, it really captured and recorded almost all snippets and, on the other hand, it was incredibly fast, after 20 minutes it had cleaned the room.
So far only great robots such as Roomba 980, Miele Scout RX1, LG HomeBot and Neato BotVac D85 have shown similar good times, cheap robots like the ILIFE V7 Beetles clean such a room over 2 hours!
To be fair, one has to admit that the 360 S6 Robotic Vacuum Cleaner even cleaned under the couch, the others just had to drive around because it was deeper.
However, the latter, according to experience, only very slightly influences this time specification.
In order to be able to determine the suction power and cleaning performance even more precisely.
We of course again exposed the robot to defined quantities of dirt on our small test surface and measured them a little.
The 360 S6 Robotic Vacuum Cleaner has already stopped this test after 2 minutes and reported that it was done. Incidentally, it always stops at the point where it was started if there is no charging station.
In the second test, we again distributed three cans of quartz sand, coarse cat litter, and breadcrumbs on the test area (hard floor without carpet).
Usually, we let this test run for up to 30 minutes, but most robots are done much sooner.
But there are also robots that leave a lot of dirt behind after 30 minutes, so we recently had to experience it again in a test.
The vacuum cleaner robot 360 S6 Robotic Vacuum Cleaner also convinced in this test. It did not have any problems with the dirt or cat litter.
Again, it reported after 2 minutes that it was done. And indeed, we would estimate that it has already absorbed 85% of this large amount of dirt in the time, which is also very good.
Again, we have restarted the robot several times, after 4 minutes, the area was 98% clean and at the latest, after 6 minutes you can talk of a totally clean area. That too is a top result!
360 S6: Application
It quickly builds up a map of the room internally (this can also be viewed via the app). In this map, it lists walls and obstacles such as cupboards but also chair or table legs.
First, it deliberately clears the space at the edge, cleans it and casually completes his map of the room.
Then it divides the space into meaningful areas for him and drives them off in straight lines.
It bypasses obstacles such as couch legs or chair legs very well, they bring him in any way from his driving strategy.
It was impressive to see on the app, how exactly he moves around the chair legs and draws.
With the table and the U-couch, he did not have it easy with us, there are many staggered legs to drive around, but it has solved that easily without becoming “confused”.
In general, operating the 360 S6 Robotic Vacuum Cleaner in the analisis is child’s play, as long as you operate it manually using the buttons on the robot.
Also, emptying and cleaning are easy and practicable. Hardly any hair has been wrapped around the brush during the test period, so it is very rare for it to be removed and cleaned.
The removal of the brush is very simple, just open the brush compartment and remove the brush.
Now we come to the smartphone app, which is available for free for both IOS and Android via the Play store. Let’s start with the positive.
The app seems to be very stable and offers many features. Among other things, a timer control, a change of the suction strength but above all a live map display and probably some statistics.
The live map display records what the robot sees. These are mainly walls and halt obstacles, even chair legs are drawn.
The map seems to be rebuilt every time you start, which is surprisingly fast and very accurate.
In addition, you can see exactly where the charging station and the robot is currently located.
In addition, the map of 360 S6 Robotic Vacuum Cleaner shows how many square meters it has already cleaned, how long it already sucks and how much capacity the battery still contains in percent.
The card is a very nice thing that you do not really need, but it is simply impressive and you want it in this form for a long time from other top robots.
360 S6: Conclusions and Reviews
The first time we have to say that after many other vacuum robot tests it was really fun to test the 360 S6 Robotic Vacuum Cleaner.
The fast cleaning, great navigation, and the good cleaning results are convincing. The suction robot has in the maximum level in about the same volume as the Roomba, about 67 to 68 dBA we measured.
That is a bit louder and you can hear a bit in the next room, but the noise is not very intrusive and quite tolerable.
Since the second suction stage has shown almost the same results as the maximum, there is nothing wrong with using it, then it is relatively quiet at 64 dBA.
The robot can really be measured here with the best vacuum robots and comes in our test in the top models, many expensive top robots even surpass.
One of its advantages is that it absorbs high amounts of dirt in a very short time and is even likely to be the leader here so far. The price/performance ratio is outstanding.
